Sunridge Village Apartments

I have lived here for awhile and I like the improvements to the buildings and grounds. My neighbors are quiet and responsible.The location is great because it is close to the university, stores and hospitals. The management has always taken care of any maintenance orders that I needed in a timely manner.

This place is horrendous, I regret every day signing a lease for a year. I actually have a calender up ticking off the days until my lease is up. They say when you move in you can only have certain breeds of dog. There are several pit bulls, no one cleans up after themselves. They have an old woman running around who has cancer and harasses everyone who lives there. She went as far as to hang used condoms on peoples doors. They do not clean the complex. You can put work orders in and wait MONTHS for things to be done. The woman who is the "property manager" is an absolute joke. You actually don't know who runs the place, there is an old couple, their son and their sons girlfriend in the office. They will all tell you different things and never relay the messages. There are people doing meth in the gazebos, their maintenance men are either illegal or ex cons (look that way anyway). They have refused a handicapped woman her service dog because she couldn't pay the deposit (against the law) refuse to check electrical faults. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!

The change of management was their downfall. When we first moved in it wasn't too bad, they were really helpful and considerate. Now it is just excuses of miscommunication they won't work with you. For the price it is not worth it, definitely check elsewhere first. It is not as friendly as it used to be. They even installed cameras, without notice to tenants, and lately there have been a lot of cops. just doesn't feel safe anymore.
