YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

This is an exceptional sports bar, with the exception of the outdoor dining area, you can constantly hear the loud speaker coming from next door at Midway Ford, that gets a bit annoying. Other than that, KFAN is the best.

The guy who bashed Sweeney's three times in a row to make it appear that he was more than one person was completely out of line. Sweeney's is great and doesn't cater to underage people nor does it need their business! It's one of the most successful bars in the twin cities for a reason.

The food is amazing. I highly recommend getting cajun seasoned fries. However, the deep fried green beans are awesome as well. I've had the Frenchie (a french dip styled hamburger with spicy au jus) and the Breakfast bluecy. Both are fabulous. I have only had their burgers, but I've heard from friends that they have great salads too.

Best burger in town! I highly recommend the juicy Lucy, who's true name I cannot post here because YP censored me. It starts with an N and ends with ookie. Though my husband swears by the lodge burger.
12.The Muddy Pig
162 Dale St N
Sports BarsBarsNight ClubsRestaurants
I completely disagree with the previous statement regarding the service at the Muddy Pig. You should go to Applebees if you expect a waiter or bartender that will get down on one knee, ask you patronizingly about your son's little league team all while telling you how amazing the jalape?o poppers are. The Pig is the type of place that compels you linger around for a few hours and be comfortable, whether by yourself or with a group of friends. That said, I find the service at the Pig to strike the right balance, not too pushy nor too sparse. As for Daniel, he's a misanthrope and probably a Communist sympathizer but he does pour the best rye Manhattan in St. Paul, which in these times as they are, the value of which cannot be understated.........

We had my Sisters 40th Birthday party here last night and had a great experience! \r The service was great, we also had a fun and awesome bartender. The apps were good and the price was fair.\r Would use again for a party.

I love Jethro's. Everybody is nice. It has a really good menu, but check the nightly specials as well. I really like the surf and turf or the lemon pepper cod. The razorback is a really good burger as well. This isn't Manny's so you shouldn't expect that, but for the money, it is my favorite restaurant around.\r \r The cheesy au gratin potatos will keep you coming back every weekend. They are only served on Fridays and Saturdays, but they are definately worth the wait. \r \r The owners are there every night and will correct any problems right away.

Nothing is better then walking in to a establishment and feeling like family and thats exactly what you get at Deans. The new owners and the staff are wonderful ! I will keep returning and bringing everyone i know with!
16.Upstairs At Mc Govern's
225 7th St W
I hosted a private party at McGovern's and could not have been more pleased!!\r The staff was always friendly and prompt to answer any questions or address any concerns that I had.\r I wanted the party on the patio but the day of the party it rained so we moved it to the upstairs... It was a great space! TV's for the guys to watch the game, very spacious and very private! There were also darts and other games that my guests enjoyed while taking advantage of the full bar!\r I read through some of the other reviews and was sad to see some that were not so great, but then I looked at the dates on them and thought, if that is how McGovern's used to be... they have done a complete 180 because I have no complaints from the staff to the food or the space we used. \r As far as private parties usually go, I had a pretty small budget so with McGoverns great prices it was easy to stay within the budget I set.\r I do not visit McGoverns weekly or even monthly but the times that I have been there (a handful of times in the past year) I have had a great time.\r I laugh at the bartender comments... if you dont like someone or have an opinion about them or what they do, that is fine... but to put it on the web like that is just childish - in my opinion. :-)

My favorite thing about 5-8 is their burger selection. It's not just the juicy Lucy anymore. If you don't want a burger, get yourself a ""hangover"" pork sandwich or a half chicken meal. There's something for everyone as long as you're ready to eat. They have TVs in the dining room, so you can catch the game or even Jeopardy. Buy some pull-tabs while you're there.\r \r Laid-back atmosphere, decent service, inexpensive food, always family-friendly because the bar area is fully separated from the dining room.

I recently was involved with planning a benefit. I noticed a beautiful Sweatshirt & cap donated by Fireside Lounge. Also, a letter with a very large check (I mean hundreds) from Mike the owner. The letter moved me to near tears - a very compassionate message from parents to parents. The benefit was for a 3yr old handicapped boy (my grandson) and Mike has a little boy also. I felt it was wonderful that he made a donation\r but to take time and write a letter like that was something else. We wanted to meet this guy. \r We went down on a Sat. evening and he was not in yet. When he did arrive I noticed that he greeted his bartender, went out to the dining room, spoke with the customers and even bussed some dirty dishes. He then went and spoke with the pull tab lady. We went up and introduced ourselves and he immediatly knew what we were talking about and asked all kinds of questions about our grandson and his family - we were so impressed with this man. I told him I meant to bid on the sweatshirt at the auction but someone else got it and he went and got me one - no charge - can you believe that? We plan to bring our grandson in to meet this great man and have lunch at his place.\r I feel some of the other comments printed on the blog really attack the character of Mike and I wish to tell you they are wrong. This is a wonderful man who we wish nothing but success and he will have it because of the great person he is. I told his bartender, ""that Mike is a nice guy"". Her response ""We're fortunate to work here"". Perhaps you people with the negative comments don't know the whole story and made judgements without knowledge. Anyway, we intend to go to Fireside often and tell everyone we know about how great it is. Mike, you go guy, witha heart and personality like yours you will succeed. God Bless You.\r

You'll never find a more congenial, casual and professional crowd than you will at Wild Tymes before or after a sporting or music event at the Excel Energy Center!\r \r Great food and staff make the entire Wild Tymes experience one of the two places to be seen in St. Paul . . in fact they are the ONLY two places to be seen . . . As to the other place . . . well this review is written for my good friend, Mr. St. Paul Hospitality himself and owner of Wild Tymes . . . Mr. John McDonough . . . \r \r Matt Birk

Wings were excellent, beer cold and the soup is like Mom makes. You will enjoy this place if your coming to watch a concert at the Excel center or catching the Wild play a real plus it is across the street. Couches, tables or the bar you are surrounded by high def flat screens and music.\r \r If your looking for authentic St. Paul this is the place to go you won't be disappointed. I stopped in between sales calls and they had plugin and free internet for my lap top. \r \r I give it 5 out of 5.

27.Energy Night Club

my best friend and i have been going to energy's 16+nights for a few years now and have yet to experience any thing bad. I have not wittnessed any violance there nore have i heard of any. it's small, but because of that (for some reason) it's more fun. the music and lights are awsome. it costs i think $9 to get in and there are no pat downs. the bouncers don't decide who gets in (anyone is welcome) in all, this is pry the best night club i've ever been 2
28.Cravings Wine Bar & Grille
755 Bielenberg Dr
I have been a regular at Cravings Wine Bar & Grille in Woodbury now since they opened in late July, 2008. The food, wine selection, service, and ambiance are unbeatable in the Twin Cities. The starters: ranging from Seared Scallops to the best Mesa Flat bread are exceptional. I have tried the pecan crusted Canadien Walleye, and I cannot find a better tasting dish anywhere. Other entrees including gourmet pastas with homemade noodles and Pan Seared Halibut are so good. They also feature a wide variety of homemade salads and soups...and to top it off....their mouthwatering homemade desserts are made fresh each day and are to die for! The ambiance is quaint and cozy with a fireplace and a gorgeous bar. The service is very friendly and knowledgable. My wife and I will definitely continue to frequent this gem for a long time to come!

Small local watering hole. Good people hanging out, yucking it up, shooting pool, playing darts, pitching horseshoes, playing bocce ball or just hanging out and talking. My kinda place.
