I would like to hype all the other great things about this bar, such as the friendly local atmosphere and great drink prices. This is also one of the only places in Northeast where you can always get on a pool table. But the real run don't walk selling point is definitely the wings. Always crispy and drenched in your choice of ridiculously delicious sauces. ask for extra wet naps Sonnn!

Good, but I have had better pizza. I think the crust is the best part. Some of the toppings were skimpy and there could have been more cheese.Good pizza, and the place was really nice.

I've been to Mayslack's probably 10 times in the last year and every experience was as you would want it to be. Friendly service, good food, cold beer and good live music with a cool dive bar atmosphere. I am guessing they got rid of the bad help talked about in the reviews below because I have not experienced that at all. I have never tried the roast beef, but I absolutely love the Big Bleu burger with tater tots and some of their dijon mayo sauce on the side for the tots ... I have to have one every time I go. It is one of my favorite bleu cheese burgers of any that I have had in the twin cities ... it is every bit as good as Granite City's Blue Burger! The staff has always been friendly - even the bouncer let me sit at the bar without paying cover for the band because I was just there to sit at the bar and have a couple of beers and grab a bite. Other nights when we've gone for the band the music was great and the cover was only $5 ... but get there early if you want a table because it is usually packed on Friday and Saturday nights. I will definitely be back.

I've been to Chatterbox almost every week for the past four months. After having been to Chatterbox, my friends and I can't go to any other bar. The atmosphere is so relaxed; great place to talk, drink, and play Boggle. They brew their own beer and make their own great tasting sodas (ask for a Pepsi and they give you their version of it.) My brother's favorite is an easy lager though a Belgian white is good as well. Fries come with an array of different sauces. The staff is great; making us feel like regulars after the second or third week of going. This place is just the best hang out spot; so much that we can't go anywhere else.

I went to this club for my 18th birthday, we couldn't get into the lamplighter because they serve alcohol.. So we went to Deja Vu. Honestly I didn't know what to expect.. I hadn't seen strip clubs besides on T.V. - I was impressed.. sure they charged a lot.. but the dancers were very friendly and fun! I was nervous as hell and they just played along and made comments on how cute I was.. I know it's their job but they had fun with it.. Odd thinking you could feel some form of comfort from a stripper.. but I did! I honestly can say that the experience was worth it. Lap Dances are spendy but honestly.. I didn't feel pressured into getting one. I was asked and they left as soon as you said no. I did end up getting one and it was good, definitely worth the money. I suggest at least going once, decide for yourself if it's a place you'll enjoy when you have a little extra cash. - I must mention that ALL of the girls were beyond gorgeous as well. Definitely no uglies in the club. Keep in mind I went on a week night as well.. so that's saying something!

Your first instict may be to turn back around and hit the bars down the street, but give it a chance. If you are unsure just walk in the back and take a seat at one of the tall round tables. Take my advice order a drink, and chicken wings it is what make shorty and wags so famous and unforgettable. however all there food is very tasty, and I believe they have the best french fries I have ever tasted. This is a very simple bar, and you may get some looks when you first walk in. But you will feel so comfortable by the time you pay your bill you will feel the need to say wave goodbye to everyone and wish them a good day when you are on the way out the door

Saw Suzies on the food network and realized we were all missing out on a great experience. The bar lived up to all the hype given both online and on TV. Absolutely amazing food, and the tiki drinks are dangerous but very good. We now make it a point to go to Suzis everytime we are in the Cities. The service was good considering how busy it was.

Great food and lots of TV's to watch the games on. I watched the Broncos stun the Steelers. I've been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. We won't talk about the pulltabs. This is a great family and friends location. If you like to bowl then have dinner it's a nice Saturday night outing.

Billiard Equipment & SuppliesBarsToy Stores
Pool tables: The best way to have confidence in the pool table you purchase is to go with a name that's known and trusted. People have trusted the Peters Billiards name since 1957. Along with leading national brands, we also offer a number of specialty pool table brands from smaller manufacturers. In this way, we provide custom options you won't find anywhere else. This includes our own line of custom tables created by company founder Ken Peters, and newly restored antique tables, too. Many of our customers find the perfect pool table from our large in-stock collection. If you find one you like in our inventory, we can deliver and install it, often within the week. Or for next weekend's party. Kitchen & bar stools: The three most important considerations when buying kitchen and bar stools: selection, selection, selection. At Peters, we carry the largest selection of kitchen and bar stools between the east and west coasts. And more than 300 of them are on display in our showroom. We feel confident in saying no one gives you a better feel for what's possible when buying kitchen or bar stools. When you buy from Peters, you have choices - thousands of choices. You select the style, including wood, metal, swivel, no swivel, arms, no arms, backs, no backs, well, you get the idea. You select the fabric and the finish. You select the height. You get exactly the stools you want and need. Game rooms: One of the great things about a game or great room is that you can create areas of the room with different furnishings to fit different personalities. In other words, something for everyone. At Peters, we have enough games to fill the largest of rooms - or the smallest. Billiards, foosball, air hockey, dartboards, table tennis, pinball and video games, shuffleboard, bumper pool, game tables and more. But we don't stop there. Game rooms are the perfect spot for custom bars and entertainment centers, pub tables, stools, theater seating or sofas, artwork and lighting. If y

Eli's is a wonderful neighborhood bar and restaurant. It is casual and reasonably priced, while the food is always fresh and delicious. They have both basic fare and some interesting items. My husband's favorite is the beef sandwich, it is wonderful. I love the pastas & salads, they have some on their menu and great weekly specials. The service is always friendly and attentive. They have a full bar, with a nice wine and beer selection too. I am fortunate it is close to home, it is a perfect spot for a casual, but good dinner, or for take out.

If you are 30 plus this is the place to go. The bands are great, and you don't feel like you dont belong there. The age group is mostly over 30-60plus, but doesn't mean it doesn't ROCK! It has pool tables, darts, poker, and a great dance floor to dance the night away. You will see some younger ages there, but will feel like this is where you belong, being with a more mature crowd. Lots of ladies and men there, always looking to dance and party with.Dress code, is none, other then the normal shoes, shirt required. Some dress totally country, while others dress more like a rock star, and sexy. Anything goes for what to wear here.

I love sitting inside this place. It is so eclectic and artsy. I have been coming here for all my friends birthdays for years now. It's classy without being snotty. You can dress up to come here or be casual if you want to. There is usually live music, you can order food from the upstairs parlor and they have an awesome lighted patio with tables for smoking or chillin' outside. I also love to hang in dinkytown at a bar with no annoying, snotty college kids. The crowd here is a bit older than the ""freshly 21 year-old"" bar hoppers, so an older, more-mature patron can enjoy a fun atmosphere at a large venue.

Decided to go to Two Stooges for my son's 21st birthday. He is a huge UFC fan and wanted to have his friends for the fight. I have to tell ya I am pretty hard to please but went away knowing we had found a new place for gatherings. They staff assisted me in coming up with a great food menu that fit my budget. The wings were as good as they get and the pizzas were great... We got to reserve their VIP Octagon for our guests and had the option of purchasing bottles beer for their UFC Octagon cooler... It was great, and my son thought it was way cool. About 25 of us sat in the octagon others sat around the outside...They had 2 servers just for our party, and both were always there... We didn't really have to wait excessive amounts of time. They have tons of tv's to watch on, and a huge big screen. I guess our only issue would have been in the beginning I don't think they had the sound on in the back, but seemed to fix that within 5 minutes of the fights. Thanks Two Stooges for making my sons 21st birthday a huge success... I would definately plan another party or event with them again.

I used to like it, but service started to get worse and the food went down hill. The last straw was serving me half frozen fish and chips, and it taking over 15 minutes to find my waitress (with the bartender's help, who odly couldn't help me) who once located ""fixed"" it by bringing me fish so overcooked that the breading was falling off and the fish dripping in oil. One bite informed me it was a bad decision, and I didn't request they try to fix it again. They billed me for the entire meal, and when i came down with food poisoning and tried to complain, they suggested that I not come back. Don't worry, I won't.

Absolutely fantactic! The sushi is 2nd to none! Very well prepared and very fresh. The calamari is the best that I have ever had. The Head Chef - Gary, even came to our table to inquire as to our satisfaction.....a definite PLUS in my book. The martinis are great......I can catch myself hanging out there LONNNNGGGG after happy hour. The ambiance is spectacular with all the dimmly lit blu lights. The best hotel bar that I have ever been to. Although the music get's a bit loud late night - it is expected as the DJ is right there on the floor spinning great sounds. I will be back there with plenty of friends time after time.

Yes the place may be dark... but they are cleaning it up! I heard they just got a new lighting system and have always had great sound. Amazing sightlines no matter where you stand (not much seating room but who wants to sit during a show?). Mixture of music every night of the week. Fun latin, hip hop and dance nights weekly.... and the nice intimate feel of a small venue for big bands! Very helpful staff, and pretty good drink specials!

Some friends and I went to a few clubs last weekend and this one was by far the best. First of all the prices were great. For ladies it was $1 rail drinks, I don't know if you can find that anywhere else. The bartender even remembered what I was drinking all night. Thats what I call great service. Entry fee wasn't too bad either. Everyone inside seemed very laid back and fun. Not too many uptight people like at the other clubs. I guess my only complaint was that the dance floor was wet from spilled drinks and a little small. Needless to say, we will definetly be coming back.
