James Henderson Plumbing & Heating
I was having a problem with my carlin gas conversion gun. I called every plumber I know, and I know a few being in the blue collar field. A few plumbers stopped by and some never even showed up! No one new what to do , or wanted to take on my problem. Needless to say they all suggested replacing my 8 year old boiler.... And that was not an option. I went to my local plumbing supply house and asked who new about this conversion gun, and who could I call. They suggested calling the manufacturing company " carlin", after speaking to a phone tech for just a few minutes he could understand my frustration. The tech called his rep for my area and immediately came back with the name James Henderson. The man new what was going on with a brief phone call. He showed at my home when he said, he didn't try to scare me or use other hard sales tactics, he just got to work. I'am confident and impressed with his work! He said he could fix my problem ,he was fairly priced, and he was very nice guy. I thank carlin for recommending him , and most of all I thank Jim for a job we'll done. I would definitely recommend him as a top notch plumber.
Tips & Advices
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
  • Before calling a plumber, try to unclog your drains and toilets yourself by using a plunger.
  • Make sure you use a standard bell-shaped plunger for your sink and shower drains and a plunger with a flanged end for your toilets.
  • If neither type can loosen the pipe blockage, put a plumber's snake to use.
  • Ratchet the snake down the pipe to eliminate any clogs.
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
