Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
Ever since Roto-Rooter got into the plumbing business, I have used them. I heard about this group via the regular Roto-Rooter. They offered a special promotion at the time. I only wish I had money so I could have had all of my plumbing work done. It's years to accomplish this. What I like about the company is that they hire professionals. These individuals are highly skilled and they know their jobs. You will want to have them doing your plumbing work as opposed to taking a chance with others. Do consider using Roto-Rooter for all of your plumbing needs. I had Alex and he did a great job fixing our runny toilet and replacing the faucet, the hot and cold ones also for the bathroom sink. I'm very pleased with the work he did. I have been using Roto-Rooter ever since we moved to Queens in 1984. That's a long time to be using one company. Most do not survive the test of time. Roto-Rooter Plumbing does. Use them and not the many imitators out there. When they come, they will provide a detailed explanation of your situation. They will also provide how much it will cost to make the repairs. it's that simple and efficient! Roto-Rooter is the best!

Mr Faucet Service Company
Company is completely unreliable and unprofessional. Missed several in-home appointments without a call or any notification. I paid up front money to get the job completed almost 2 months ago and as of now, nothing has been accomplished except multiple cancellations without notification. DO NOT USE!

Plumbwell Services
Very very happy with the professionalism. They were punctual, really knew their plumbing, offered different suggestions and fixed our problem quickly and without a sign of mess. They even laid coverings on the floor from the door to the kitchen. Loved the job they did, would highly recommend. Thank you!

Plumbwell Services
Bob and his team just finished doing an oil to gas water heater installation in my home in Massapequa. I cannot praise them enough. Extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional. I had a seen their ad in Newsday and made an appointment for Bob to give us an estimate. To my surprise, on the morning the estimate was scheduled I received a call from his office letting me know that he may be a few minutes late. I thought that type of courtesy had gone out of style a long time ago. Apparently not.The installation was done flawlessly even though this was not a typical install - Bob was able to move the heater to the opposite side of our laundry room which required routing of water and gas lines. I have never seen a more meticulous job!Highly, highly, recommended

Plumbwell Services
If I dudnt have to give a star to write a revuew I wouldn't have, they destroyed my DVR and pkwer supply as well as phone system. They cut two pipes which leaked raw sewerage into my store. The sewerage syrated onto my new walks and also leaked into my bew medicine cabinet in my newly renovated bathroom. Bob gave me his wird that he'd replace everything that his crew damaged, it's been about one month and Im still waiting. He said ges not replacing anything because we shook hands, he's an amazing story teller. Id never let them do anything as what tgey did has been leaking ever since they did the work and he has the nerve to say that Ive sabotaged the job. In my opinion, this us how he covers incompetencey.

Al Esposito Plumbing & Heating
This is the worst company. The service is pathetic. They over charge and under deliver. They ignore your calls for service and when they finally show up, they train their team to give you a list of things that require repair or to be replaced in order to ramp up the bill. Then when you question them, they disappear. I hope that anyone considering hiring them takes the time to do their research and reads all of these horrible reviews so they can avoid the stress and aggravation we have all had the unfortunate opportunity to experience.

Terrible man Al Esposito is. I worked for him for a while. He stiffed me 20 hours my last paycheck and the excuse is he doesnt have the money but he drives a new BMW. Im gonna tell you what the real deal is..he's over priced and hires inexperienced, under trained, and under paided workers cause he's retiring, so he's milking the company for every dime. Hes very untrustworthy, liar, and terrible person to EVERYONE. Dont waste your hard earned money with this scam artist. If you do you will be calling and complaing things dont work, or how you cant get in touch with him cause he'll dodge you at all costs. I pray for the day they close the doors cause hes a terrible person. I cant stress it enough....DONT GET TAKEN BY HIM OR HID LYING PROMISES HE'LL NEVER DELIVER ON. HIS SHOP IS A ROTATING EMPLOYEE DOOR. WITHIN A YEAR IVE SEEN 8 PEOPLE QUIT OR GET FIRED. HE ONLY HAS A 3 MAN TEAM TOPS AT ALL TIMES. SO WHAT DOES THAT SAY?

These guys are slimed thieves. I used these guys to do an oil to gas conversion. Not only did they steal the customer equipment rebate card that they are suppose to give the customer from national grid after ordering the equipment, it took them months to render the service after I had paid a hefty down payment. In between the down payment and finally rendering the service, I tried to contact them to see what was going on, they never responded or replied to my calls or emails. Stay away from these criminals.

Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
