Nunn Lee Bass Dds Office
I switched my family to Dr. Nunn’s practice early this year. We weren't displeased with our prior dentist, but had heard so many good things about Dr. Nunn. All four of us have been thrilled with the move. The transition was made easy. They facilitated the transfer of our dental records, and set appointments that worked with our challenging schedules (two high schoolers, and two full-time working parents). Appointment reminders are sent by text, and email. The staff is wonderful…Amy, Renee, Kim, to name a few.The office is also extremely clean, and has modern equipment and uses the latest technologies. It also has easy parking.During my first visit, I asked Dr. Nunn about mouthpieces to prevent snoring. We set up a follow-up appointment where she created molds of my teeth to customize a mouthpiece that gently moves my lower jaw forward to open my airway. Last night I had the first snore-free night I have had in decades! I can't say enough good things about this practice!!

High Point Smile Dentistry
I would recommend this dentist's office to anyone seeking a new dentist for whatever reason. I visited Dr. Kwon and he was the best! The office is courteous, utilizes the most modern techniques, and provides for an overall comfortable experience. This coming from someone who has harbored a genuine fear of dentistry since childhood. I give them five stars! Would definitely recommend them to family, friends, and cohorts. I tried the sedation dentistry and that was really a good option for me. If you find that you are very nervous and uncomfortable when visiting the dentist's office, then sedation dentistry is definitely the way to go!

Patterson Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
I saw Dr. Patterson for a sinus lift & two wisdom teeth extractions. She was very good at explaining procedures and what to expect both before & after surgery. I was extremely anxious prior to surgery so she put me at ease with valium & laughing gas. I was out during surgery and surprised afterward how little pain I felt. Staff was quick and efficient. Can't say enough about how happy I am about my whole experience and the outcome I experienced. Would highly recommend Dr. Patterson!

I was traveling to High Point for the furniture market and had a dental problem that needed immediate attention and they were very accommodating, pleasant and concerned with my problem to help me. They got me right in and took care of me. One of the greatest experiences had going to the dentist.

Hartzell Eric J DMD
Excellent staff, everyone is always so kind and pleasant. I actually enjoy catching up with Dr. Hartzell during my fast, easy, painless cleanings. I appreciate that the office NEVER tries to rip me off by trying to sell me extra "stuff" I don't need.

Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
