Bay Lake Retirement and Assisted Living Community

Bay Lake is a beautiful and welcoming community. The staff are all so friendly from the concierge, servers, nurses, and housekeepers. Everyone truly cares and it shows.

Bay Lake is a wonderful community. It is clean and you can see that the residents truly enjoy living here. They offer lots of opportunities for family members to join in on classes, meals, and events. I would recommend Bay Lake to anyone looking for a retirement community for themselves or a loved one!

When I walked into Bay Lake in December of 2021 to interview I immediately fell in love! The building was decorated beautifully for Christmas. It felt like I just walked into my new home! In no time I fell in love with the residents and staff. I have now been with Bay Lake for one year and I can truly say I love what I do and where I work!

Beautiful community just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay! The staff are kind and welcoming, always willing to assist with a question. I would recommend anyone interested in retirement living to schedule a tour to see this community for yourself!

I have been working at Bay Lake for two years. I have enjoyed every class I facilitate and always look forward to going there. The staff is outstanding and always helpful to any needs I may have. I spend time in both memory care and assisted living. The directors for both of the activity programs are wonderful! The residents are welcoming and a pleasure to work with. Bay Lake has created a great home environment for all it's residents.

Visiting Bay Lake is a must if you are looking for senior living options in Virginia Beach! The building is absolutely beautiful, the staff is amazing and the food is superb! I highly recommend.

Bay Lake is a beautiful community! Their staff is well qualified, welcoming and always willing to help. The food is FANTASTIC! You definitely won't be disappointed! Plus, there is always something to do thanks to the Life Enrichment Staff. The memory care unit does not fit the reputation of what a memory care seems to be like. It is a very home-like feeling, with bright open areas, and plenty of places to participate in activities.

Bay Lake is an Awesome Facility!
What makes it so great is the dedicated & compassionate staff. The Concierge, Housekeeping, Activity Director, Facility Maintenance, Nursing staff & Administrators are All Wonderful, Friendly & Helpful Folks! The Kitchen & waitstaff are also superb! The food couldn't be better! There are plenty of activities and live entertainment as well.
Bay Lake is a Very Clean and comfortable community and we feel comfortable in knowing that our loved one is well cared for there.

Had an appointment with Cameron Gwaltney for a tour, he was more than happy to help. Everyone was just so friendly and quick to welcome us. Now, my mom is quite the foodie, so the fact that they have an executive chef is awesome. Upscale food, friendly environment, and such a clean facility. As we toured the facility I couldn’t help but think this place was perfect for my mom. Bay Lake not only met my expectations, but they exceeded them.
