Went in for early dinner late lunch. Sat outside. It was perfect. The food portions were huge! The staff was super friendly. The garlic bread was a must!

I came to San Francisco with the aspirations to find the best crab cake... I believe my search is over!

Very nice dinner. The view is great so make sure to ask for a window seat. Menu had lots of choices even if you don't like seafood and the prices weren't that bad. Everything seems so expensive now in San Fransisco so couldn't complain to much except for the 30 min wait for the food. Well worth the visit.

Fantastic garlic bread

we attended this restaurant as part of tour evening excursion. We had a limited choice of menu and despite seeing some frosty previous reviews we all enjoyed an excellent meal without exception.
I went for the steak and asked for rare and it was not only cooked to perfection the steak cut like I was going through butter. It is not the cheapest but given location and views worth the price

We arrived early. Waiter was super nice and gave my daughter and I a corner table with panoramic views. We split a Caesar salad and cheese pizza. Perfect!

We stopped here for drinks at the bar. Great value and beautiful views. The bartender was very nice. I can't remember her name. She is a very nice Mexican lady.

The service is among one of the most excellent in all of the restaurants I have tried in my life! Wonderful, accommodating servers. It's a beautiful, light ambiance, quite sophisticated but don't feel overwhelmed! It's actually quite down to earth since it's in the middle of many tourist attractions. The view of the ocean is beautiful and you can see Alcatraz from a distance.

As for the food, I was quite surprised to find that the fish and chips exceeded the usual quality of a typical fish and chips order. The bread bowl soups are okay and the salad selection quality depends on your order! I had clam linguine pasta and it was really good. My complaint, however, is that this place has small portion sizes. I was still satisfied at the end of the meal but I'm glad I ordered appetizers and a to go pizza. Speaking of those, the vegetarian pizza was delicious and one of the best pizzas I've had. I also have to give a shoutouts to the delectable calamari appetizers! They were quite tender with the perfect crunch. Overall, this place is reasonably priced and I will definitely be coming back.

We went to celebrate my brother's birthday and the food was delicious and our server was very informative and attentive. We had a beautiful view of the SF Ba amd the ambiance was nice. The only con was the wait but obvious the wait is because of the high quality if food and service. I highly recommend Swiss Louis Restaurant!!!

First class. Ambiance , staff very friendly views of the bay amazing. Stopped in for a cocktail take a break from sight seeing already had lunch. Very large seating area. Great for large groups.

We were walking around peri 39 and came across this restaurant, we had Shawn as our waiter and he was the best! Coming from Rhode Island I wanted to see the cable cars he told us which one to take to see all of San Francisco. Being so young alot of servers we have never have any concern for us but he was so nice and so awesome! Vary nice man and a great server!

Had a really great experience here. The food was really nice,especially the crab. Never seen a crab this big my whole life! The service is over the top. The waiters were really friendly and fast in serving. Not to mention the view from the restaurant. It was really great!

We had put our name in at another ace in pier 39 that had a 30+ min wait! We the found Swiss Louis and they had a table. Lucky for us because the food was very good and price was competitive.
We had mixed green salads, clam chowder and fish and chips.
Clam chowder was better than other places we ate at in SF. Fish and chips were as good as I have had anywhere. View off pier 39 of the sea lions was great!!!
Try it, I think you will like it!

Went there on a busy Saturday & were seated within 15 min. The view is of the city, the bay with all of the boats, sea lions, etc & was gorgeous. Tracy was our server & was very sweet and attentive. We had 2 cocktails which were tasty. We had the half baked crab, the pesto linguine with salmon plus garlic bread for an appetizer. The bill (with taxes) was $93, a bit pricey, but considering the location, is pretty fair. We will come back again.

The service is very good, warm busy atmosphere and a great menu. We had the Calamari-good, the crab enchiladas,Chicken Parmesan very good!,and the sausage Italian sandwich with also good. The prices are reasonable,especially considering its in a high tourist area.
