Worst sorting facility ever. They are always losing my packages. Like others have stated Priority Mail does not get priority treatment. I have a package that they sent to Miami to be delivered to me. I live in Boynton Beach and there are TONS of other POs closer to me. WTF would they send it to Miami?

worst, wish it wasn't our sorting facility. stuff gets stuck here forever. no priority when shipped priority mail. fire everyone here and start over please.

My package was taken here on May 2, 2014 with tracking. It stayed there over a WEEK!! I still do NOT have my package. How do these people keep their jobs???

My sister purchased a live fish under express shipping(I know, its horrible, I don't agree with it but ultimately her decision). It was supposed to deliver last wednesday. It is still sitting at this location. I am almost certain the fish is dead because of this lazy office. I have repeatedly called for just about a week now with no return calls or even answers( just goes to voicemail). These people are out to lunch and haven't heard the last of me!!!! I finally received a return call today and explained my situation, begging for shipment immediately. She expressed concern but didn't do crap and never called me back with results. These people need slapped! And Im almost tempted to buy a plane ticket from Pittsburgh just to do so!!! They are Fish Murderers. I only gave one star because this site requires it but really they deserve none

Same story here this sort facility appears to be blessed with magical vanishing cursed-mail abilities. My package started going through a time-loop, "Proccessed though Opa Locka USPS Sort Facility March 15 10:53PM"



Next day, "Accepted through Opa Locka USPS Sort Facility March 16 12:36PM"



Day after that, "Proccessed though Opa Locka USPS Sort Facility March 17 8:22AM"



Then it said, "Electronic shipping info recieved March 18"



Then lo and behold, ""Accepted through Opa Locka USPS Sort Facility March 19 3:12PM"





I ended up calling USPS South Florida center and finding out my package had fallen into a loop, meaning it's tracking number wasn't being proccessed correctly or something and kept being retouted back. I had ordered Priority Mail 2-day and it ended up taking 5 days to receive it. Please go to top of message to read how I fixed the problem exactly.

Small box shipped February 24th, 2014. From Houston, TX to Hialeah, Florida. Tracking said on Friday, Feb. 28 from OPA LOCKA, FL, that it was 'processed through USPS Sort Facility' and then sent to 'Dead Mail / Sent to Mail Recovery Center' from there. It is now March 8th, 2014. I will be faxing the shipment & tracking information over to both Mail Recovery Centers today to try and find this package! This is ridiculous!

More than one lost Priority Mail package with online generated shipping labels & signature confirmation. USPS is a joke. Management is substandard as well as the people they hire. I honestly hope this post office center in Opa Locka gets permanently closed.

this facility needs to get it together there is no reason for a package to take 7 days for sorting.

Called here to find out about a Priority Mail package that was stuck in Opa Locka, FL. Person I spoke to on the phone told me that the item was likely located at the SORTING FACILITY. Gave me the telephone number for the facility. Unfortunately, the SORTING FACILITY does not answer the phone and the voice mail says the mail box is full and no operators are available! UGH!
