Dr. McGinness’s special interests include ophthalmology, dentistry, and internal medicine, and she loves working with so many wonderful people who truly love their jobs. Your pet’s annual physical will include a nose-to-tail health screening from one of our veterinarians, as well as updates to any vaccinations that require boosters to stay effective. We also highly recommend flea and tick prevention as well as year-round heartworm preventatives for all our patients.

Each visit will consist of a through examination to look for any changes in your pet’s physiology such as hair loss, dental issues, skin conditions, and signs of disease or discomfort.

It wasn’t until she realized her hometown did not have a large animal veterinarian within a 4-hour drive that she decided to work her way through the veterinary field. Her goal is to satisfy the client’s needs and to ensure a successful visit. She lives with her family that includes her father John, mother Jennifer, two younger sisters Taylor and Adilynn, grandmother Bobbie sue Gibson, her two cats sunny and lady and rabbit potato.
