If there was a 0 star rating they would get it. Same boat as a lot of other people, UPS passed off a package to Hazelwood PO on 12/14 and it is nowhere to be seen. You also can't actually get in contact with anyone,just leave a message. Maybe I will hear back by next Christmas.

Horrible post office! My package was lost/stolen or something from this facility! Cannot find it, no actual contact person to speak with ....item was received but never shipped out... Hazelwood PO received package on Dec.12, and it is now Dec.21. !!Absolutely no call for this! Waiting on Christmas package and nothing to show for it! Makes me soooo angry! This Post Office needs to do some MAJOR firing or something!!!!!! Act like a true honest business and DO something! Would give NO stars but there is no option for that! :(

I am in absolute shock after reading these previous reviews that I am also now in the same boat with a MISSING PACKAGE that was last tracked a WEEK AGO checked into this Hazelwood facility. I get a constant busy tone every time I try to call. NOTHING. This is horrific! I ordered Christmas presents weeks ago with an expected delivery date of December 15th... It is now December 21st and the package has not moved from that facility! This place needs to be INVESTIGATED!!!!

OMG! I am Horrified after reading these reviews! I have a package from Stone Horses with $506.00 worth of Fragile Glossed Horse Models inside, that has been sitting at this facility for 7 Days!!! No Response to my Numerous phone calls! The Post Master at my Kirksville, Mo. facility Also sent an email, with No Response! WORST POST OFFICE EVER!!! I am So Disappointed! This facility should be Shut Down! If my Package is Ever Found, I certainly Hope my items are Not Damaged! Vicky Daniels 11/6/2015 Today is Nov. 12th & I still have Not received my Package! I am posting pics of my Lovely Model Horses that are in the Package, I want them Now! I have opened a Case with USPS & left 4 messages with the Hazel Wood Facility, with No Response! Very Unprofessional!

This isn't the first package I've had "lost" at this facility. It is an absolute train wreck of a post office. Absolutely unintelligent, lazy, horrible, non-sensical, uncaring workers there. The PO general needs to SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN FIRE EVERY SINGLE WORKER AND START OVER. You don't expect your packages to be stolen from or BY the Post office. But it happens there. What do you do, though? Not get your mail from across the country? I wish it could go to a different sorting facility instead of the THEFT hub.

I did a change of address back in July received a confirmation letter to the new Hazelwood address & the old address and still am not getting all my Mail! I have spoke to three employees, two of which have been Supervisors and Still have not gotten several pieces that are important. One of them Is from the Government & one is a Court mandated letter I am to receive every month on or before the first! This is now the 2nd month & still NO MAIL!!! Sad to say but they need to close that facility down and fire a few people!

After reading reviews I'm shocked the facility is still running! How can they not see a problem when all packages going to that facility don't move after they get there.i order from Amazon my package was sent out immediately but never arrived it's been sittin at that facility for the last 2 weeks! How isn't anything done about all the packages getting stolen in that place!

So many messed up packages when they go through this facility but this one is the straw that broke the camel's back! My granddaughter was up from Florida and ran in a 4th of July race, she received a medal and accidentally left it here when she went home. I sent that medal, a new pair of earrings ( she had had them pierced while here) a doll toy for her American girl doll and I had gotten her a 100.00 gift card to help with back to school expenses. Well, the package arrived at this black hole of a sorting facility and hasn't' moved for 10 days. From the other reviews I'm pretty sure they saw the return address as sent from Grandma and PaPa and figured there just might be something good in the package so it won't ever be sent on. I can replace the other items but the medal I can't. I've complained but it seems that they know this place is a disaster and just don't care. Shut this facility down!

Awful facility!!! My package departed Hazelwood, MO on 7/26/15, we were advised by USPS to go ahead and file an insurance claim because this facility is typically for lost or damaged items. I am blown away after reading the reviews on this office. I guess that I will begin using UPS and just paying a little bit more. I would give 0 stars if that was possible. Leave it to the federal government, thanks for nothing USPS!

Just open a case # with USPS for a package that stop tracking at Hazlewood MO. After reading some of the other reviews it seems that the Postal General inspector should be out there inspecting these abnormalities.

Mailed a package at the Maryland Heights, MO location. My package went through the Hazlewood location on 7/18 and there has been no status update since. When I called to investigate the number was disconnected. I called USPS headquarters and the only information that they could give me was that my package was last scanned at the Hazlewood MO location. I already had that information since I had a tracking number. The package that I mailed was worth $150 and was going to a top customer. I have since lost their business due to this mishap. After reading all of these reviews I am shocked that nothing has been done to prevent these things from happening. It is obviously a known problem that needs to be fixed.

I had a 3-day priority envelope going from Rockford, IL to Springfield, IL. Somehow my package landed here in Hazelwood and has been sitting there for 2 weeks. No one will respond and help me find this package which had a very time sensitive check enclosed.

Worst ever. Stolen items around Christmas over $260 worth. I heard that employees where fired for other stealing a too but with not bring back my love for Christmas. My Christmas was ruined that year and I will never use your services again.

This is the absolute worst postel service after two weeks late I got my package broken and in a bag saying sorry hope this was not a inconvenience to you ....YES IT WAS A DAMN INCONVENIENCE I had to rebuy because you broke so it cost me double and now you won't return my calls to reimburse me for the insurance

We've been having problems with this post office. Anything shipped to us outside of where we live in Illinois usually goes through here. My catalogs are usually torn. Whenever I receive mail from Reader Services and it says on the front that I have a cash reward, that particular mail is usually opened. They don't put the cash in there for obvious reasons but that doesn't stop Hazelwood, MO employees from opening it. Recently, we've had two packages sent to the wrong town! First one went to Belleville, second one went to a place near Belleville called Mascoutah. I finally received the first package and the address on it was just fine. Not sure what caused them to send it to the wrong town. Supposedly the second package was sent back to Hazelwood. Maybe they'll get it right this time?

Been using this facility to send most of my packages through my online business and had been OK in the past, but lately my customers state they have been receiving them torn up and some of them late. I send all my packages out 2-day and 3-day priority mail but they get them later than that. Yes, I like to get this investigated.
