IF AN OFFICE MANAGER IS RUDE AND DO NOT KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE YOU OR TALK TO YOU, THERE IS A REAL PROBLEM! STAY AWAY

Fake reviews Roper Mountain Woods Reviews? No, of course not. But they are forced. In November of 2013. RMW (roper mountain woods) put up fliers for a contest. To go to all the apartment sites leave 5 star (or the highest they allow) reviews print them out bring them to the office for a chance to win an IPad. 1 entry ticket for each review the tenant completes. That’s why all the good reviews are so close in dates that they were posted. And the odd thing about it I cannot seem to find the winner. I looked at the names of the people that left reviews and I can’t seem to find a winner. Im short one guy but I was told by one person that it was given to one of the office workers friends and one person said there was no winner. Either way something shady is going on. I moved out a little while ago and here is a real review. I lived there for three years. My rent increased from $525 to $850 over the course of 3 years. Apartments are poorly insulated. Sliding glass door leaks your A/C out in the summer and lets your heat out in the winter. Walls are kind of thin can always hear my neighbors if they are semi loud. Water bill is not solely yours it is judge by building. One person taking one shower a week will pay the same as 8 people in one apartment taking 3 showers a piece a day. (Really not fair). Maintenance is joke, enough said. Don’t expect to always get your 24 hours’ notice before they enter your apartment on time. I got a notice delivered to me once. An hour after they had been in my apartment. Staff is horrible. There was a huge staffing change about a year ago. Been downhill ever since. Even If you pay early every time don’t expect any sympathy if you have a problem. Staff is very cold and heartless once you move in. Very condescending when they talk to you. (think about that person that you know that doesn’t know how to talk to people. Now turn that one person into 5 and put them all in the same office.) There is no drop box for payments. So if you work during the day you are screwed. One person actually had the nerve to tell me to mail it in early and they could get it that way. Which would be fine if I didn’t have two kinds and my wife wasn’t between jobs. So if you’re one of those people who work during the day and won’t have your rent until the week its due you will have a problem at RMW. This place is not what it used to be. When I first moved in the property was full of people who had been there 4 years +. Now its difficult to find someone who has been here more than 2. Stay away from Roper Mountain Woods theses building are not worth anything close to what they charge.

I have lived here for years and have had no problems or complaints

Roper Mountain Woods has become a great new home for me and my children. We love the spacious apartment we live in and the pool and playground in the summer time. I also like the wooded grounds and lake (which you can fish in). This is a wonderful and secure palce to live.

Friendly office staff and competent maintenance crew make this a pleasant place to live. Secluded, but convenient to abundant shopping, restaurants, medical facilities, and the Interstate.

Overall wonderful place to live! Friendly office workers and knowledgeable maintenance staff. Washer and dryer in unit and the fitness center and pool are always clean. Close to everything but far enough away to still be called quiet.

A Great place to live! Has everything I need gym, pool, etc.! Has a great staff! Great neighbors and a very quiet neighborhood!
