J & M Heating and Cooling

J&M installed my central air and electric heat pump system about 7 years ago and I've been very satisfied with it. However, during the last heat wave the A/C gave out. I called Phil on a Monday morning and he was able to get out first thing Tuesday and had us back up and running before noon. Excellent friendly service. Phil took the time to explain everything that was needed. Luckily it wasn't a major repair. I highly recommend them to anyone with heating and a/c needs.

I have been a customer of J & M Heating and Cooling since 1993. When I call them for service they always arrive on time. The quality of their work and the equipment they install is the best. If you are considering repairing or replacing your heating and/or cooling system or your hot water tank, you should call them first.

Our air conditioning suddenly stopped working in the middle of a heat wave! A neighbor recommended J&M and I could not have been happier. Phil came out the day I called and in less than 24 hours we were back in a cool house. I appreciated his promptness, knowledge and patience (I had lots of questions). I would recommend them to anyone.

J & M Heating and Cooling installed our central air a few weeks ago. I must say they were very considerate of my schedule and thorough with their work. Overall, it took approximately two days. Yes, a five star for being prompt! They arrived thirty minutes early & they're available before 9 AM. We were shown how to operate the system after it was installed & the guys made sure that all materials & trash were discarded from the area.

Another great experience with J&M Heating and Cooling. They recently replaced a dying air conditioner. Phil returned calls and provided an estimate promptly. They were professional and courteous. I had an issue with my AC unit over the Memorial Day weekend. Temps were in the 90s and the coil froze sending water all over my basement floor. I called several local companies that I found in the Hometown Coupon Magazine. J & M was the only company that returned my call Sunday morning. One of the owners, a guy named Phil, gave me some free advice over the phone. He told me if this doesnt work call me on Tuesday and gave me his personal cell phone #....Well I had to take him up on that as I was still having problems Tuesday morning. I called Phil and scheduled a service call for the next day. When Phil himself showed up I knew I was on the right track. Phil diagnosed the problems, the coil was frozen, the filter was dirty, clogged and the unit needed to be cleaned. He never once tried to sell a new unit which I feel is what most guys would have done. So i found a locally owned and owner operated business i can trust, when I am ready to buy a new unit i will call these guys first!!

Responsive, knowledgeable, clean and professional. What else can you ask for. When it comes to my Air Conditioning I have absolutely no reason to call anyone else. A+

J&M has been servicing the furnace and air conditioning at my house for many years, both for myself and for the previous owners. Phil and Tom are knowledgeable, prompt, and always go above and beyond for their clients. They also just installed a new hot water heater for me--quickly and at a fair price.

We have been using J&M for many years and would never consider using anyone else. They have always provided quick, reliable and reasonable service. They have come out late in the evenings to get our systems up and running again as quickly as possible without any of those crazy "emergency fees" that other companies would charge. 20 years ago we bought a heating/cooling system from J & M. Great system, great service - they come twice every year and that system is still running like a charm! They are responsive, polite, knowledgable and downright good at what they do!

My heater broke during the weekend and I contacted J@M for service. They came fought away and repair the heater. The heater was very old and was replaced by mid week along with the air conditioner and hot water heater. They were very professional and trustworty. The price for the entire system was very reasobab!e. I highly recommend them to my family and friends.

Phil and Tom installed a gas furnace and central A/C unit with new ductwork in the house that is highly efficient. They are very knowledgeable HVAC guys. The cost and details of the job were explained beforehand and all went as planned. Just as important they are honest, trustworthy, and respectful of your property. I would estimate the units saved 35 to 40% on the utilities for the year. I would definitely recommend Phil and Tom to friends and family.

Phil and Tom provided excellent service, not only installing a quality gas furnace and air conditioning unit, but also evaluating and creatively repairing ductwork throughout the house that was severely damaged by a previous contractor. They were able to work with what was already done, repair it with minimal re-construction, and supply the proper heating and ventilation throughout the house. They started almost immediately after I accepted their quote, worked for four days straight, and had the unit and vents working on the 4th day, providing high quality service in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC service.

When we decided to replace our heater/central air system, we called J&M, Phil came out to give us an estimate, and could not have been nicer. He was very informative, and thorough. When Phil and Tom installed the system, it was installed in one day, and aside from the the new system you couldn't tell anyone was in the house.
