J & M Heating and Cooling

J & M replaced our old heating and ac units and moved everything to opposite side of basement to help with our remodel. Everything went smoothly. They are very professional, courteous and efficient. Would highly recommend them for any hvac needs.

When my AC broke just as the warmer weather hit, J&M came through for me. They were easy to work with, on time, detailed, organized, and gave me all the information I needed. Work was completely quick and without any problems. I will look forward to working with them again in the future.

Called these guys at the suggestion of a friend, came out- great estimate- and in less than 24 hours the entire system was replaced and running.

I asked if they could take a look at my central air too, 20+ years old and not long to live.

They were timely and explained all options to me in detail. Estimates were provided within days and implementation was less than a week. They required very little support and the house was left better than they arrived. They checked in afterwards to ensure all services met my satisfaction. They filled out all paperwork for rebates and left instructions on how to claim. Overall, great job and easy to work with.

They arrived half an hour early for a heater and air conditioner retro-fit . They started immediately and finished in about 4.5 hours, and left inside and out better than they found it. Honest and reliable; came out same day when I needed a price quote and that price that I was quoted stayed the same once I brought them in to do the job. As a customer who is a contractor I was impressed with all of Phil Melito’s work including how he checked out our existing heating system, the duct work and evaluated what our three-story house needed for the most efficient central air system. His customer service skills were excellent.

Of course our Air Conditioning went as soon as we hit a heat wave. We called J&M and within hours they were at our house. They quickly assessed the situation and gave us numerous options to fix our problem. They guided us to the right decision and they installed a new unit within days. The price was fair and they were a pleasure to work with. They called a few days later to make sure everything was working to our liking. They were clean, prompt, professional and knowledgeable. They are amazing! Took my call Thursday evening and were at my house first thing Friday morning. When there was an additional problem a few days later, they answered the phone at 6:30 am and came back the same day. Once everything was hammered out, they came back again to re-check the unit before charging it. They went out of their way to repair my AC and charged me a more than fair price for the service!

Prompt, professional and courteous! Not only do they keep my 11- year-old furnace in great shape with regular service, Phil came out on a Sunday to quickly and efficiently solve my a/c issue.

The fact that I am doing a review and joining YP shows how impressed I am by the service I got from J&M. I have worked on investigation of houses that have went on fire or exploded from the A/C or furnace being incorrectly installed. I had been looking for a company that's work is completed by the owners and not some guy out of A/C school getting $8 per hr.
I got a new A/C & furnace. J&M did a wonderful job.
It was the little things that impressed me the most, things most home owner don't notice. The fact that they capped the gas and electric lines while the where working even though it had been shut off. Outside of my house is a little uneven, they took the time to do cement work before installing the outside unit. Also the work area was cleaner than the rest of my basement when they were done.
I had been shopping around for a good price and the price I was giving by J&M was the best and they did not charge extra for the cement work.

Nothing but good things to say about J & M. New AC was operating less than 6 hours after arrival on first day of installation, whole job was completed, with new heater, in less than 2 days. Very efficient and trustworthy. Phil and his crew are the best!

J & M installed our central air several years ago. They were honest, trustworthy and dependable. The estimate we received was reasonable and the work they do is professional! They are the only ones I would call to have work done! Recently they helped out my elderly father with his old and stubborn air conditioning unit that broke down in the middle of a heat wave. Phil came right out when I called him, as I was concerned about my father's breathing. After completing the work, he even called on the weekend to check in and make sure everything was working for my dad. Who does that? They care about their customers, are fair, and provide great service!!!
