This is NOT the place you want to consign your items to for sale.....They will quote you unrealistically high suggested prices for your items, and then sell them to the first offer, no matter how low. You have no say over the actual sale price of your items.They will claim that your items had damages that were not noticed when the store took them in, they will claim that your items are on layaway, but are no where to be found, they claim to have sent out a check that you never received. They don't answer their phone, and very often don't have an answering machine. It would seem that the only people "happy" with this store are the buyers who are purchasing items at a steal.

From the friendly customer service to the variety and value of their furniture, I have had only very positive experiences visiting the store, and always have fun going back to see what's new!

I was just at the Lindsey's Attic store to renew my contract for the third time. I had to give up my house and move into a retirement home last year. I hired Lindsey's Attic to empty my house and sell all my furniture and other things. Before I signed the contract, the reminded me numerous times "remember to renew your contract" and "don't let it expire". So I put it in my calender, also to go down every month to pick up my check. I don't understand some of these comments here. I do not believe anyone of them was forced to sign that agreement, and I know how detailed they inform you of what is going to happen if you forget to keep your account current. I'm in my eighties and manage to handle this things. I guess it is not like in the old days anymore that people took responsibility for their own affairs. This is what I learned and believe: be responsible and don't blame others for your own shortcomings!

Linsey's Attic is set up to rip of customers at every level, this business should be stopped!!!

Do NOT sent furniture there, you will lose everything like I did, plus canceled check fee. they purposely delay the check to you as the check expires in 30 days after issuing, by the time you get the check it's already or near expired. There is also another set of furniture simply disappear, NO check, NO status after 4 plus month

As a Realtor for ALL of Lee County, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, San Carlos etc., I am in need on a rather continual basis for nice furniture for staging. I attempted to call your place of business on several occasions as it is advertised by you as the place for upscale consignment. Upon not getting a response, I decided to see if any one else has had such an issue with your place of business. I accomplished this by reading the reviews regarding your establishment.



I must say, I was rather unimpressed and disappointed. With my rather limited experience with your shop I can see how such reviews may ring true. I will be informing ALL of my clientele both buyers and sellers alike to read said reviews about your shop and I am sure they will come to the same conclusion as myself.



How unfortunate to have a business such as yours in such a nice area as Cape Coral.

They are a very honest business they explain there contracts and are very upfront about everything the owner's and there staff are a joy, and the quality of furniture is great,

I hired this business to sell over 24 groups of items including antique glassware, a chair, picture and Boyd's Bear collection. My contract is up. I've been paid $59 for 6 groups of items. All but one group of glass ware is gone from the store and has been for 3 months as related by store staff. I have called numerous times for an appointment to come in and meet with the owner to go over all the missing items. No one calls me back. Contact me if you've been ripped off by this business.

I hired this company to sell over 6k of furniture all brand new and top of the line. After all of their hidden fee's I got a check for a whopping $200. They wont return my phone calls and make pretend like they are not there. After the fact I decided to do my research on them (Should have done that 1st) and boy did I make a mistake, seems like everyone has a similar issue with them and most of their victims are elderly. When they came to my home I just trusted them so shame on me. People please do you research before working with this company, they are not good for America and not good for society. The way they take advantage of people its plain oh disgraceful and they should be in Jail. All I have to say is DO YOUR RESEARCH on this company because if you don't you will be sorry. Your better off giving your stuff to Goodwill or just do a garage sale, you will make more money!!
