General Info: Harris Trucking is a family-oriented business providing damage-free, on-time delivery to customers. Harris prides itself on being a dock-to-dock partner for product distribution. The trucking company provides transportation and logistics services, as well as warehousing and brokerage. The trucking company has a 48-state authority and specializes in routes east of the Mississippi River. Harris got its start hauling school supplies around Central Virginia. Its customer list has grown to include such prominent names as Rock-Tenn, Greif Brothers (formerly Virginia Fibre), K-Mart, Ford Motor Company, Eastman Chemical, Willamette and others. Harris Trucking has three terminals centrally located within the eastern seaboard, enabling it to function as a hub for the entire region. The company has two terminals in Virginia (Madison Heights and Richmond) and one in (Blountville) Tennessee. Each terminal is within a single day s drive of the major population centers in the eastern United States.
