I am from out of town and we stopped in the Pub for a bit of ""Phila-food"".The hostess was busy, but very down to earth. there were 6 of us and she did seat us promptly. This was a Friday night and very busy. We had to expect a wait..it wasn't to long. She was apologetic and had us all smiling by the time she sat us. She also motioned for the bartender to wait on us while we waited for a table. The service was very good and the food was great. Thanks for a wonderful experience and we will be back!...Cheesesteak was delicious as well as an outstanding burger!

Teresa's Next Door is possibly my favorite bar. It has a comfortable atmosphere with NO televisions or loud music to serve as distractions. The food is quite good, and while not at the highest level, it exceeds most. The selection of drinks is also fantastic. They have many wines and bottled beers. Their draught beers are constantly rotating, and the only thing better than trying them is the knowledgeable bartenders to help you make your choice.

I moved to the area seven months ago from Scottsdale, AZ and can say that Christopher's is the best food I've had here! Veggie burger and the bluecheese burger are craveable, and the sweet potatoe fries outstanding. You're sure to find something great at that resturante!

Glenmorgan is a great spot for dinner for two, or bring along another couple. Seating seems to always be available, so planning dinner at the last minute has never been a problem. The food and service has been consistently good. They seem to change the menu with the seasons and offer little specialty menus time and again. Saturday nights offers a prime rib dinner special that can rival some of the other steakhouses in the area. I would highly recommend Glenmorgan to any Main Line local looking for a guaranteed good meal.

Ok it may not be a secret considering the number of people there on the Friday evening i went (which was still only about 4 other couples), but it sure isn't advertised enough! I went to the Gypsy Saloon with my best friend to celebrate her birthday and we were amazed from the moment we set foot inside the door! The decor of the restuarant makes you feel like you're in the middle of India with the bold golds, purples, and greens. For bigger parties, they even have tables with benches and colorful pillows arranged to sit on. There are candles mounted on the walls and beautiful decorations everywhere...my friend and I are still talking about the pleasant and at-home atmosphere as much as we are the food...and the food!! We ordered the Crab and Spinach Springroll along with the Mussels Margarita for our appetizer and shared. Both were devine! She had the lobster tortilini and I had the Scallops wrapped in serrano ham for our entrees...both are oh so good! The Scallops had a vanilla soy reduction that became a little strong after 2 (4 huge scallops come on the platter), but it was still so good that I didn't want to stop eating, or ever leave for that matter!! We both had the carrot cake for dessert, which wasn't the best i've ever tasted but it was good non-the-less (and i've had alot of really bad carrot cake unfortunately)...all in all, The Gypsy Saloon is one of the best experiences both my friend and I have had together in a long time! The staff was friendly and the food was so good that we both ordered entrees to bring home to our boyfriends...the entree i ordered was the babyback ribs which i was able to try and he LOVED them (hes a very picky eater too), and she ordered the salmon to bring home which i heard was also extremely good as well...if anyone reads this, please take the time to make a trip here. It is a little on the pricier side, according to how much you actually order, but I assure you that you won't regret it!

I would give this place a 2. 8 of us went there for Mother's Day Dinner. The service was HORRIBLE. We had to get up and get our own water, after the dinner was served the waitress did not return once to check on our meals or to see if we needed anything. The food was cold so we could have use some service. The food was ok, but it was cold. We were then overcharged for items, and charged for items that we didn't order. On top of that we were charged the 20% gratuity onto our bill. We are not a group to skimp on tipping, but we received LOUSY service and feel we should not be expected to reward (which is what a gratuity is) it!. We tried to talk to someone in charge, but there was no one around except a hostess to listen to our complaints. Can you believe that a restaurant would not have a manager or assist. manager on duty, especially on Mother's Day. I would never return and would discourage everyone from going there. There are too many other fantastic places in the Philadelphia area. Don't waste your time on places that do not value their customers.

My partner and I have been going to Brother Paul's for several years now. We feel like regulars at Cheers when we walk in. We know everyone that works there on a first name basis.\r \r I hate cooking and I pass Brother Paul's on my way home from work everyday. It's convenient to get to and park. My partner and I go almost every night for dinner and several times over a weekend for lunch and dinner.\r \r It's never hard to get a table, but that's not to say that they aren't busy. Thusday through Sunday evenings are jammed!\r \r The menu has your normal pub food, but the Head Chef, Joe, really likes to be creative and every night there are excellent dinner specials. Everything is homemade and tastes like it as well. I can't tell you what my favorite dish is since they are all my favorites!\r \r If you like beer, their beer selection is the best that you'd find outside of the city. The bar area has a sports bar feel with many large screen flat-panel televisions around with every sport imaginable being broadcasted.\r \r Don't feel that you have to get dressed up to enjoy your time at Brother Paul's, come as you already are. You'll see people in shorts to business suits and everything in between.\r \r Make Brother Paul's your regular hangout with friends and family - like we do!
