Went to Providence Grille for Valentines day. Became very sick after eating the Crab CAKE! Everyone else was fine, but I became violently ill suddenly. I only ate a small amount of this meal! I had to have intravenous fluids and anti nausea drugs to help alleviate the pain of this food poisoning. Crabcakes are usually cooked very well done! Well some are sensitive to seafood and shell fish! Not sure what occurred or how it could happen at such a lovely restaurant.! Hoping to hear back from the owner shortly!!!!! Keep u updated!!!! Please tell the waitress there to have your shellfish cooked thoroughly!!!!Overdone!!!!PLEASE! THIS ILLNESS WAS NO JOKE! Hospitalization was necessary!!!!

I've been going here since I turned 21 (Im now 29) and I still love it here, nice and cozy place to meet up with friends. They dont have the best beer selection, but thats not the point. Everyone who I have ever met that works there has been super nice. Great place.

Went in for a casual dinner and was surprised to find that this place that feels like you might be in the city (food quality, atmosphere, service) but the prices were reasonable and parking is really convenient. I recommend the calamari, they have a different spin on it that is REALLY GOOD!
5.Locust Crest Tavern Inc
1192 N Middletown Rd
I've been to Locust Crest with friends about 5 or 6 times. My one friend has been going there on a regular basis for at least two years. We've always enjoyed ourselves, but whenever we go, we all end up saying the same thing... \r \r We wish there was better food and some more choices on the menu. You can't turn on the TV these days without seeing some food show talking about how some hole-in-the-wall tavern or pub is blowing everyone away with their talented chef in the kitchen cranking out real food-- some interesting, almost-gourmet dishes. \r \r I know I'd rather have an awesomely creative sandwich or appetizer to go with my usual two beers, rather than those same old lackluster, tasteless, overdone & boring chicken fingers they serve middle school kids for their school lunch.\r \r The people that go to restaurants these days have a bit more sophisticated palate. That's just the way it is. Offer them a Reuben-- or a good crab cake-- a homemade bbq pork sandwich-- or maybe a moist salmon burger that was cooked by someone who actually knows what's what in a kitchen. \r \r Variety is the spice of life. The menu is just too limited. Bring in a creative cook or chef. Give us more choices-- something different and creative for a change and you'll have more customers coming in more often. Locust Crest could be a gold mine and there'd be nothing like it around Gradyville if you'd just get some inspiration going in the kitchen.

I have some friends that live in the area and they brought me here raving about the new menu that just came out here. After tasting the food I was hooked, it really is a great little find. I would have never expected the quality of food that comes out of this place and it is one of the cheaper places in town too!

it seems every town in america has a brew pub now. some are better then others. this is one of the better ones. Iron Hill has a great menu, there is always something different to try. from burgers, to gourmet pizzas, to fish and poultry. plus their craft-brewed beer is awesome. Iron Hill also has brew pubs in West Chester and Newark, DE

My husband and I have been to Riddle Ale House a handful of times in the last year and each time is worse than the last. After our last experience, we will not be going back. \r The restaurant was recently remodeled and, for awhile anyway, looked very classy and clean and elegant. When we went in the spring and summer of 2008 both the decor/atmosphere and the food was very good and above average for this type of establishment. We went back in the fall and the interior was starting to look dirty and shabby and the food was clearly not as good. We just went back for a final attempt this past weekend and it was horrible. The surfaces were greasy and dirty, the temperature in the ""porch"" area was so cold that many people left their coats on during their meals, the TV in the ""porch"" area was hung so low my husband could barely make it out of his seat without hitting his head, the staff seemed clueless, was slow, and would offer no substitutions on side items except cole slaw, it took almost a half hour to get a hamburger when the place was very sparsely filled and when the food finally did come it was mediocre at best. To top it off, the couple at the table next to us found a disgusting clump of grease in their salad. \r I used to appreciate this place for its outdoor dining and decent quality, reasonably priced food, but after a couple mediocre visits and this horrible one, Im not wasting my time or money here again.

Hennessey’s always had a good reputation but the last 2 times I was there, it was horrible and I won’t be going back. Our waitress was the rudest server I’ve ever encountered. It took her 15 minutes just to ask if we wanted water. There was something floating in my drink and it took her another 15 minutes to come back before I could ask for a new one. The food was burnt and when we asked for a replacement, she copped attitude and blamed the chef, Mike. It’s very clique-ish and if the bartender doesn’t know you as a regular, you are ignored. Then to top it off, we got a gift card for someone. Good thing we checked because he never validated it! How embarrassing would that have been for the gift recipient?!There are way too many restaurants with better food and friendlier staff in this area to be bothered going to Hennessey’s.

I love this place, the staff makes you feel right at home and it has to be one of the cleanest bar around. They have a huge selection of beer in bottles and on draft and it's ice cold. There is a dance club upstairs that's open Fri-Sat nights that has great beer specials and music .while downstairs you can hangout, play some pool or relax on the sofas with a nice frozen drink ,and order some GREAT food.

I can't fully articulate how bothered I am with my experience at this place. Firstly, I kind of knew to some extent what to expect from this place.... it's basically shady with a capital S and it's run by an even shadier man who goes by the name Junior. This place has been a seedy after-hours hang out for many years. The kids from bootleggers come here after the club closes to continue to party before they go home. I did end up going against my better judgment because I had heard that they really clean up for their events.. LOL apparently that was the case 10 years ago when Junior cared but not today folks. If I hadn't had a friend of the family there to help set up that day it wouldn't have gotten cleaned at all.. plus the decorations are all dusty and gross.. which thankfully I knew ahead of time because I had that same friend make all the centerpieces and decorations *she is very talented at this*. So with her there to treat everyone like children and show them what to do.. the place ended up looking amazing. Unfortunately the things they did on their own without her looking over their shoulders were shi**ed up. One example is that the white table clothes were just turned to the opposite side.. apparently because the front side had stains on it and they were too lazy to wash them. Also the food was cold and there wasn't enough cooked to satisfy everyone.. this was a buffet btw. Also my friend made a candy bar for the event and bags and bags of candy were taken to the back without anyone's knowledge so Junior could get his fill I guess. He did the same with the cake because my husband and I received none and neither did our immediate families. A few relatives got pieces but from asking all guests those were the only ones. Somebody did spot plates of cake in the back kitchen but just assumed they were going to be handed out. I guess Junior really liked my cake!! When I met with Junior numerous times before the wedding I would ask him all sorts of questions about the timing of the whole reception and each time he would cut me off and say.. don't worry about.. I'm not going to kick you out.. you'll have all the time you want. I assumed he said this because his club doesn't even open till 2am and my wedding started at 3pm.. because of that I actually trusted what he was saying. So I started my ceremony at 3:30pm after everybody finally arrived.. but by 6:45pm Junior was saying last call and clearing off the tables and turning on the lights and kicking us out. Apparently he was tired.. awww poor Junior.. Folks he keeps a couch and blanket in the back room for his many naps so forgive me if I don't care.. obviously he cared more about his club members partying the night before than about me and my wedding.. which was paid for in all cash.. as per his request!!! SHADY! He got a bit surly with me when I went up to him and asked why he was ending things early when he said we could take all the time we wanted. Another thing I was told is that he told my mother and her handicapped boyfriend that I hadn't told him there would be handicapped folks there or else he would have put a ramp out in the back.. That was the very first thing I told him b/c it was my #1 requisite when picking a venue being that my mothers bf is in a wheelchair and that there are other elderly family members I didn't want walking down the large staircase leading to his basement club/lair. Avoid this place like the plague it is. And never trust Junior!!!!

I found Maggie May's establishment to be very warm and cozy. Friendly staff, can't do enough for you to enjoy yourself. The food is home made and delicious, at very reasonable prices.. It's a great spot for lunch, and an after work stop.. The college crowd come in late, so if you aren't into the college scene, I would suggest coming in before 10:00 PM .

I stumbled across this enchanting gem of an establishment while honeymooning in the great state of PA. Many will rave about the high quality meats and rightfully so, however it is the triumphantly glor-i-ous atmosphere that will really turn your plums into a basket of six!\r \r If you are into music, or hearing sounds with your ears, you may even be lucky enough to visit while Sir Randy Lippincott (Grammy Nominated --- he should have won.) happens to be jamming out on his musical instrument. His sounds will make your heart flutter and your mustache curl.\r \r On top of the vibrant culture which protrudes from this comfortable palace of spiritual agreement, one must not forget the ever astonishing repertoire of wet and non-remorseful beverages. The Lounge’s bevy of liquor choices will have you drunk for days, forgetting all of your pirate troubles, and wishing you permanently installed next to the bronze bust of Jeff Cohen.\r \r Believed to be the birthplace of modern medical technology, as well as the place where Susan B. Anthony hand crafted the final draft of the Bill of Rights the ‘Nex should be your ‘Nex destination of enlightenment.\r \r If I did not own a house I would live at this bar. \r

First off Bootleggers is Up in the Running game Along with many other club/bars. People always write rude stuff about bars that are also clubs, Mainly because they are broke and go to the bar expecting cheap drinks, or because they got kicked out or played. BootLeggers isnt ToP notch because its in a area surronded by clubs and Hot Spot bar/clubs Just like its self. And being not very far from Philadelphia were its always goin down on the weekends, Id say bootleggers is kick a** compared to the older people bars in the area. Boot's is a Main bar for mostly Young People, 21-mid 30's.Its not filthy and if a floor or something is overflowing or sticky, its because ignorant people fail to bring it to the employee's attention. Its not any of the Boot's employee's fault one bit. their constantly busy and serving people.

At 1st I would have said there was nothing special about it but yet nothing wrong with it. It's a small local "" hole in the wall'. I normally love these types of places. Someone at the bar bought a round for everyone but my husband was excluded because they thought he was too drunk. I can appreciate concern if that was true but he stutters and sometimes makes it seem he's drunk. I explained that but it didn't matter to the bartender. Our night was ruined and they lost our business and the business of anyone who knows us.\r
