I received an extreme DUI and after going to the first attorney that I spoke to, I did Nig have any confidence in beating my first DUI that I got only because I admitted to drinking. ( something that you never do). I was looking for an attorney, when I came across Mr. Michael Munoz website and I liked what I read on his site.I scheduled a consultation and met both Anna and Mr.Munoz first off I was very impressed how down to earth and caring both of them were upon first coming into the office and how they continued to treat me with my questions and concerns.Coming in I was so nervous, overwhelmed, and scared regarding my first DUI. Mr. Munoz took his time and explained the entire process to me, which also included the MVD and alcohol classes that he encouraged me to enroll and finish those classes and I did! Mr. Munoz was really patient and worked very hard and diligently on my case. I was in tears and completely floored when he called me with the greatest news ever!!!Mr. Munoz got my extreme dui down to wreckless driving with no jail time, interlock in my car or nothing and in court he also fought for my fine to be reduced and no more alcohol classes and yes, yes, he prevailed honorably!!!!!! I am so grateful for all that Mr. Munoz and Anna has done for me, it is with great pleasure that I write my testimony!! Thank you Mr. Michael Munoz and Anna!!!! You guys are so AWESOME!!!!Thank you for all that you do. I suggest anyone that has encountered a dui whether it's your first, second or third Munoz Law Office is who you need to seek!! I love them!! Sincerely,Stacey R.

Move over Mr. Earnhardt there is a new kid in town! When it comes to Munoz Law, there is no B.S. Bad things happen to good people and proper representation is a hot commodity in modern society. I came to Mr. Munoz with a felony DUI charge. The charge was completely unconstitutional and the odds were against me in every judicial way. I was frantically stressed out about the situation but Mike calmly broke down the process to me in simple terms. He emphasized the importance that all citizens have rights under our constitution. There was no sugar coating the repercussions of my actions. There were two options, “time in prison or dismissal.” His enthusiasm and positive reinforcement gave me faith when all hope was lost. Mike is a true inspiration and I would recommend him to anyone. I know if I ever get in any legal trouble – I have Mike on speed dial. Mike and Danielle did their diligence and answered all my questions through the entire process. As a result of their legal experiences, my case was “DISMISSED”! Thank you for my freedom and proof that the system does work. You are an amazing law firm and I am a huge advocate of Mr. Munoz; not only as a lawyer but as an upstanding moral individual!!! Sincerely,N.F.M.Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find outthey've got a second. Give your dreams all you’ve got andyou'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you. - William James P.S.The man knows what he is talking about: Follow all of his DUI Mike’s Top 10 DUI Tips

Law Offices Of Laura Jane Edwards
I believe there is two sides to every story. Some of the Reviews here are not genuine. I have reviewed the reasons this attorney was sanctioned. The reviews on this site make it seem like she was sanctioned for perjury. Just because you didn't get what you want does not equal an ethical violation. To be clear she was sanctioned for bad accounting practices. Lawyers are not accountants. When you start dealing with accounting that the bar requires without the proper background or when you do not have money to hire accountants it does not equal perjury pursuant to the accusations here. Sour grapes do not equal ethical violations. Yes I am a lawyer. Don't believe all those fabulous stars you see online. By the way this is not an attorney I know well. We are not friends. People write reviews on these sites because they were not satisfied. Generally the ones that write bad reviews don't tell the whole story. We can't write back and tell you the real story because the Bar Association puts a gag order on us so we don't violate confidentiality. This nonsense requires that I give the attorney a certain number of stars. This is not about stars, it is about educating folks on the value of the stars. Based upon what I have reviewed about this attorney and lies about perjury that are being told here I will have to give her five stars since she was not sanctioned for the reasons the two reviewers claim. Munoz Law Office P.C.
Michael Munoz is the best DUI Attorney out there. Going into my DUI had no clue what to expect and to be honest I was terrified about the effect it would have on my life and my job. When first meeting Michael I knew he was the one. He sat me down and went step by step what to expect during the DUI process from both the Court System and DMV Side of the process. Once you have Michael Munoz on your side they will set you up with an online account where you can track all your documents and court dates which makes it easy to keep up with your case but Michael and Anna are always available if you have questions. He was able to get me an awesome deal from his skills and expertise he has acquired through out his professional career. There is no doubt that Munoz Law should be your first and only call to get you through the DUI Process. Also, Anna is so great and is readily available to answer any of your questions! - Brian R.

Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
