YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

This was by far the best seafood we had while vacationing at the Wharf. There is no view, so if that is what you are looking for, this is not the place for you. The restaurant is tucked behind the crab stands and maybe small, but it has a nice cozy, family feel to it. The food was wonderful. Very good chowder. The scallops melt in your mouth, the prawns done perfectly, and the crab was abundant and delicious. The mussels and calamari are very good as well. The wait staff was very friendly, something we didn't come across often while in San Francisco, but something we are used to coming form the Midwest. The food is moderately priced and the quantity good. If you don't mind the lack of view and tight quarters, but want fabulous seafood, then this is the place for you!

Always crowded because of location and history, but that’s for good reason. Great drinks, including the Irish coffee. This is a great spot to rest your feet and watch the world go by outside.

I love this bar! It was even better when I saw my dad and his friend's pictures on the wall. Lots of nostalgia for me, but it does feel like I am in a friend's living room because of the relaxed atmosphere. Great drinks and great staff.

Yes, there are both straight and gay self-identified people in the world. Thank you for sharing your views. I hope it was cathartic for all concerned. A nice unbiased review of the bar would be much appreciated. I don't know what this place is like now. In 1972, the bar didn't have a dance license. That didn't stop it from being the hottest early evening dance venue in the city, or from being raided by the cops every night after all the neighbors called in complaints. My friend Shawn says it is still a cool neighborhood establishment.

Great place for dates or a night out with the girls! Very quaint and peaceful and the food is delicious! I highly suggest their salmon...best salmon I've ever had! And their wine selection is very good!

Been in 7 countries visited many famous Clubs and Bars, but this on is the best place in San Francisco! Their event called ""My Heart Beats For... "" is the best venue. Their bartender Brian makes the best drinks. Make sure to try his: Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime Juice and Sweet N Sour with a squeeze of lime. Simple, basic, nothing fancy but this blend has a calming effect on the fiery tequila that most people like. The place has cozy look and The Cellar Nightclub is right next door and managed by the same people. I recommend visiting the place and check out their venues and specials! Very friendly, good drink selection, and the best party atmosphere ever!

I've eaten at Soluna several times in the past three months for lunch. Everytime I've had great service and the food has been great. I must admit that I am addicted to the mac & cheese. Last time I was there the recipe had changed but it was still good. I think the atmosphere is really cool too. Whenever anyone is remotely close to the Civic Center area, I recommend Soluna and I always get rave reviews.

My friend & I had a great time here recently on a Sunday night. The decor is tasteful with orchids, a cool waterfall/waterwall thing and artful lighting. The bartender was totally friendly, the patrons were all having a nice chill time (late 20s-late 30s) with somebody passing around chocolate for everyone to share. We stayed for a couple hours talking at our table and enjoying the positive vibe. The drinks seemed a tiny bit weak at first, but at $2 a pop we could afford to keep drinking. The doorman was a gentleman, listened to our buzzed chatter and then helped us hail a cab in the rain. I forgot to tip him and feel really bad about it now. Next time, I promise.

I have been going to the Redroom while on business trips to SF for the past 6 years, and still like it. This place is always full of businessmen and some really good eye candy, not to mention the music. On my last trip, I even scored almost $250 worth of martinis in a week. Nice place to be if you are a tall southern blonde who has mastered the art of flirting:)

26.The Holy Cow

Place is a great spot to bring a group to: no cover, friendly staff, good ratio of girls to guys, quick as hell bartenders and cheap drinks. Great place to start your night, or meet up with a big group. Multiple bars, rooms, and deck kept it interesting. Could use a bathroom upgrade, some great house DJs and some visuals, but new girls and half price drinks trump snowboard videos, or psych visuals.

I was first lured into Capurro's as I was walking by and a live jazz band was playing. I love dining with live music! Didn't have time to sit and eat, but kept them in mind. I went back on a first date and loved it. The live band was playing again, and we were immediately and warmly greeted by the restaurant owner. We definitely felt welcome. We were seated in about ten minutes since the house was a little full (sat at the bar while we waited). Waiters were friendly, and food was great. Not to mention the food comes in large portions. A couple of weeks later a friend and I decided to try a place a couple restaurants down.. we were seated outside and were ignored for a full ten minutes, and this place wasn't even busy. Couldn't take it so we ran over to Capurro's and I received the same great service I had the first time-- seated promptly, friendly staff and our order was ready within minutes. Highly recommended if you're out on a date, or like a warm environment, friendly and welcoming staff, some live music, and great seafood.

I was new in San Francisco, so I didn't know where to hang out to have a good time, but now I know!!!\r No matter what some people says about Club Six !!! Even if is not in the best place of the city, isn't in the worst neither!!!\r This is a really great place to go if you want to have fun, chill'out, dancing, etc...with your friends. There is different ton of music in each rooms, and usually during the weekday, you have, like special night, You should go on the website of Club Six to know the events because you have a lot!!!
