Abadi, Esfandiar
I needed a deep cleaning, a root canal, and some crown-work done. I have had previous bad experiences at the dentist and was worried about getting so much work done in a short period of time. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Abadi so I called in and booked an appointment.I was not disappointing. From the very beginning I was treated with respect by the doctor, his staff, and his wife who works with him. They answered all of my questions and took the time to go over my concerns before staring on anything. All in one appointment I got a root canal, a crown, and my teeth cleaned. My recovery time was 3 days and they even called and checked on me the day after. I have been in for a checkup since and everything is still looking good. I will definitely be going back to them for any dental work that I need in the future, including some orthodondic work that I have been thinking about the last year or so.

Stephen E Kineret DDS MS
We noticed that my daughter's potential jaw growth (had a bad underbite) was going to be challenging by about 4 yrs old. We started with braces in So Cal at about age 5 1/2. We moved up to Nor Cal at 3rd grade and started with one Orthodontist who was recommended by our Southern California Orthodontist but when he wanted to pull 4 permanent teeth we decided to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. That's when Dr. Kineret won us over with his thorough exam and mapping of her jaw angles etc. on her lateral skull xray. He was honest and said he'd do the best he could to hopefully avoid surgery at 18 and so far her bite is beautiful and he said he didn't agree with needing to remove those teeth and he had those fitting in just fine in a matter of a couple weeks to boot. Couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism and expertise. Thank you Dr.Kineret and staff. They're all great!

Family Tree Dental
The best luck I have ever experienced with the dental services around Sacramento! Very nice, responsive and responsible staff, very flexible and friendly, and an awesome Dr. Olga Nefedova who performed the dental work on me two times already within six months. First time it was an urgent pulling out a wisdom tooth which she did very skillfully and painlessly, sacrificing her time and doing it almost after hours at the end of the working day to meet the patient's needs.Second time she did a brilliant job cosmetically fixing my front teeth which I had chipped eating some fruit and nuts. I am so happy and smiling now with all my teeth like a Cheshire Cat:) referring anybody in need to a Family Tree Dental and in particular to an amazing and very high skills Dr. Olga Nefedova and her pleasant assistant Katya! Thank you very much!

About Face Dental Care
I had been wanting straighter teeth for years but didn’t want to go the route of clunky metal braces. I had heard great things about Invisalign, so I went for it. And boy, am I glad I did, because my teeth are a world away from where they were a year ago. Dr. Sanders at About Face really made sure he knew what I wanted my teeth to look like and took that into account as far as my treatment plan. Booking follow-up appointments was easy, and Dr. Sanders explained every detail of the process along the way.

He is definitely skilled and knows what he is doing. i like the fact he actually lets you know what he is going to do and what you should expect. I am still in disbielf I went to the dentist and was not white knuckled in the chair. Lana, his assistant is very friendly too. I am very, very happy with the dentist and the experience I had. Mark F Olson DDS
I have to say that my first office visit with Dr. Mark F. Olson was enjoyable. That is not a word I would have ever used to describe a visit to a dental office before seeing Dr. Olson. His office is state of the art and the staff is amazing. They explain procedures very well and I feel like they truly care about me and not just my teeth. I am getting better dental care than ever and two years later, I still "enjoy" my dental visits with Dr. Olson!

Pure Dentistry
We have been taking our son here since he ways two, and Dr. Slate is just wonderful! Dr. Slate and his staff are extremely professional, and do a great job being gentle with our son, while getting the job done. He has TV's in the office with nice big earphones and sunglasses for the children to wear, which is especially good for children with light sensitivity. We highly recommend Dr. Slate and his team!

Gentle Dental
Gentle Dental is a great place, I have been a customer for over 10 years. The staff is great, the place is spotless, they have TV's, stuff for the kids....The dentist never tries to make up work , he only does the work that you need. Unfortunate the other reviewer graded them 2 stars because of the reviewers insurance coverage... that shouldn't reflect on the dentist

Healthy Smiles
Very friendly and accommodating staff. I was able to get an appointment right away. I have insurance and have been told by other offices that it would be over a month to get me in. I was seen on time, the staff explained everything that was going on. Needless to say i will be going back its hard to find compassionate dentist offices anymore. Very pleased!!!
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
