Dental Dreams
I haven't personally seen anyone at dental dreams but my sister had some major constructive work done there with dr dan and the results are amazing! I know a lot of people who have constructive work on their teeth and its obvious! my sisters teeth look like her real teeth and even people that have known her for years and don't know she had it done cant tell the difference from before her teeth all rotted out. they were terrible! after the work was done, she looks great! they look natural and they fit her mouth! and they really look like her teeth, the way they used to be. she was very happy with dr dan and im taking her advice and making an appointment with him myself. and ill let people know about my experience. maybe ill post before and after pictures and let people judge for themselves. if mine turn out like my sisters, everyone will be amazed!I'm reading the reviews and it sounds like everyone is complaining about the typical dentist visit, hurry up and wait! I would like to walk into a dentist office or doctors office and get right in. but lets face it, that's not likely to happen anywhere! and if it did, I would be hesitant about seeing that dentist. why would a good dentist have an empty office?!? when it comes to my mouth, quality is worth waiting for. ill be sure not to make any other plans that day....... btw I only gave four stars for visual since I haven't experienced the wait and the busy unfriendly people who cant spot me in a big group and know that im the only person whose been waiting a long time...........

Rock River Dental
I have had a very positive experience with this office, Its clean, the staff is caring, and the dentist took time to listen to me and my problems! I was recommended this by a friend who takes her 4 kids to him and had had nothing but positive things to say about the work done on her and her family. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I have had several scheduling hiccups with them, but I and my child have Severe dental anxiety so those are not all there fault. I will be taking my son to them very soon to have work done after having a nightmarish experience with another office who I will not be mentioning in this comment (My family calls them Dental Nightmares...) but if all goes well with my sons appointment I will most definitely be upgrading this to a 5!!

Dental Group of Rockford
I'm very angry by the last post about the "foreign" dentist. The only "non foreign" dentist I saw there was quite something and this is what I found when I googled the name...Google this!!blog.dentistthemenace.com/.../student-de...Nonetheless, I will be sticking with my "foreign" dentist, Dr Ashwa who has a true passion for his patients and always takes the time to tell me what I need and why. The girls are always so friendly and seem to work very well with Dr Ashwa. My whole family has now started coming to this office and I'm proud to say that they do!!!

Tina T Brenza, DDS
This dentist is extremely caring and thorough, follows the latest dental practices and procedures, and provides state of the art dental care. She is really concerned about her patients and their teeth. Other places I've been to haven't updated their equipment or practices in years. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better.

Periodontics Of Rockford
I have been a patient of Dr. Burch’s for a number of years now. To put it plainly, “He Saved My Teeth. “ I thought for sure I was going to lose all my teeth. Luckily, I was a candidate for laser surgery. The procedure was relatively pain free. I especially liked the sedation portion of my treatment. I am very nervous when I see the dentist. Dr. Burch was awesome. I highly recommend Periodontics of Rockford.

I took my 2 kids in for their check-ups. My daughter was scared at first but Dr. Dan was GREAT with her. He is kind and tells them what he Is going to do before he starts any work. My son also did very well with him. His assistant was very nice to both of my kids too. I will defiantly take them there again for their next check-up!!Thank You DR. DAN!!

Daniel P Weyrauch DDS
Dr. Weyrauch has been my dentist for several years and there's one main reason why; The instant you walk in the door your feel welcome. The receptionist (Mindy) is always smiling and good-humored. My hygienist (Missy) is always friendly and engaging. And Dr. Weyrauch himself always takes the time to answer my questions. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Zak and the assistance are great. I have three children. I took my oldest son first to see how it would go. It was great, they were very kind and had a lot of patience with him. All of my kids love the castle and Dr Zak. the care and ease that he puts my kids in is wonderful. I highly recommend him and his staff. They are great.

Daniel P Weyrauch DDS
My husband and I used to hate going to the dentist. Dr. Weyrauch and his team have gone out of their way to make sure all of our visits go pain free (well minus our stomachs hurting from laughing so much)! Thank you everyone for making us enjoy going to the dentist. 5-stars!

Sachs Dental: Cynthia M. Sachs DDS, PC
Dr. Sachs and her staff are very kind and caring people who always have their patients' best interests at heart. Beth is a great dental hygienist and she works well in combination with Dr. Sachs. I've been blessed to have this team taking care of my teeth for many years.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future

Just a moment...
