I had a leak and an annoying banging sound which turned out to be a "water hammer". Richard fixed the leak, repaired the toilet and made arrangements to stop the noise. He was very knowlegeable about the whys of my issues. I'm signed up to complete a few other projects and delighted to give him the plumbing business.

Couldn't be happier. Master plumber Chuck Sauro showed up on time and made a hard job easy. The price was exactly as quoted and the job was done quickly and expertly. Based on my experience today, I highly recommend Connelly Plumbing Solutions and will definitely use them the next time I have a plumbing issue.

Awesome! I met him at a local plumbing shop and not one of the employees could help me with my problem. I was told my plumbing was PEX, it's not. I was told a certain valve would fit my tub, it didn't. Robert talked to me and dropped what he was doing to help me find a solution.

Richard was prompt and professional. He not only met but exceeded our expectations. After a very bad experience with a local big name plumbing company, I was hesitant to call a plumber. Richard is now my go-to plumber.

Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
  • Don't use your toilet or kitchen sink like a trash can by stuffing hard to flush material down the drain or pouring fats and oils down the pipe.
  • Throw coffee grounds and eggshells in the garbage instead of in your sink.
  • Only use your toilet to flush human waste and toilet paper
  • Before calling a plumber, try to unclog your drains and toilets yourself by using a plunger.
  • Make sure you use a standard bell-shaped plunger for your sink and shower drains and a plunger with a flanged end for your toilets.
  • If neither type can loosen the pipe blockage, put a plumber's snake to use.
  • Ratchet the snake down the pipe to eliminate any clogs.
  • Be mindful of how much water you use in your bathroom, kitchen and even outdoors when watering your lawn.
  • Make sure your toilet handle works properly and doesn't stick.
  • Replace old shower heads with more efficient low-flow options that can cut down on the gallons of water you use each morning.
  • Turning off the water while you brush your teeth
  • Only running your dishwasher or clothes washer when you have a full load.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
