We had a hot water heater spring a leak on the Sunday after New Years 2010. I made a call to my good friend who is in the construction business and he recommended some guy named ""Wayne"". At the time, i thought he was just an independent plumber or just some handyman. At that point, it did not matter who he was. I called ""Wayne"" and he said he would be out first thing in the morning, which was a BIG relief. I realized that he worked for Terhune Glenn Plumbing. This company was new to me and i was a bit skeptical of additional ""add-ons"" when they arrived. My wife would be handling the install since i was at work and was afraid of additional sales tactics that some companies use to increase work/profit.\r \r There were two guys who came out and finished the entire job in just a few hours. They installed the hot water heater and some additional things that needed to be done for code reasons. My wife said they were extremely helpful and very nice and knew what they were doing. I recently purchased a dishwasher (same brand as the existing dishwasher) and called Ray Baker to install it. When the tech's arrived they said it would take about an hour to install it. A local appliance store had said it would take about an hour and $135 to install it so I was expecting to spend about $150-$175. In the end it took 1 hour and 45 minutes and cost $242 to install a $600 dishwasher! They charged $25 extra for ""parts."" When I called the manager to complain that the price seemed high for a simple install, she told me that I should use a different company in the future.

I contacted this company to get an estimate on converting my electric range over to a gas range. The lady that answered the phone for them was extremely rude and stated they don't do that! I then asked her if she had anyone that she could refer me to; she proceeded to be even more ruder by saying, "I don't know, we don't do that, we are commercial." Then she hung up! I wouldn't want to deal with a company like this. I could have been a very lucrative prospect for a big commercial project for them. But they will never know because of this first impression!.
