I had a water leak somewhere on the property which I suspected was at the main water line where it entered the house. I called Accurate Plumbing for an estimate. Over the phone they explained the leak detection process and possible charges. We set up an appointment window for the next business day.The day of the appointment, they called to confirm the ETA, arrived on schedule, and worked methodically through all of the possible leak locations. The leak was located under the driveway, a location I did not expect at all. They described the repair options and offered to make temporary repairs that very same day.Accurate Plumbing does an excellent job: Great customer service, professional, knowledgeable technicians who explain things as they go. For me, money well spent.

Up front bid was considerably better than the others. While workmanship on the plumbing was also very good, this company loads most of the work on to two individuals who are working 10-12 hour days. I was told they would bring in a crew to knock my re-piping of our house in 1-2 days. It wound up taking 8 days. They left me with a over $1000 in concrete and drywall repairs to bring our house back up to standards. Part of our agreement also was for them to hook up new bathroom vanity sinks/drains once they were installed. When I called, I was told that would be a 8 day wait. My advice is pay a little more up front, and ensure you are dealing with a company that is organized and can deliver what they promise on time.

EXCELLENT! AAAAA+++++ It took us a few years to find a plumber we trust, and we would never go anywhere again. We have a 1920s home in east medford- they have replaced almost everything in this house that had not been maintained (sewer lines, water lines, irrigation issues...none of them were fun, trust me). Very reasonable to work with- we will never call anyone else again.

D & D Plumbing & Repair Company
D & D Plumbing are absolutely awesome. I operate a busy property management company and they are always there for me. I don't know how they do it but they do. :)
Tips & Advices
If you're having hot water issues, you can examine the thermostat and adjust it accordingly. If you hear odd sounds coming from your water heater, it could be due to sediment building up. To get rid of this, make sure you clean out the heater every few months. However, if you hear a boiling noise, it could mean the heater is overheating and you should call a plumbing professional as soon as possible.
Frozen pipes are hazardous and can cause massive amounts of damage to your home. To prevent your pipes from freezing during the winter, run your faucets at a trickle and keep your house's heater at 55 degrees Fahrenheit or above to keep the water flowing.
  • Be mindful of how much water you use in your bathroom, kitchen and even outdoors when watering your lawn.
  • Make sure your toilet handle works properly and doesn't stick.
  • Replace old shower heads with more efficient low-flow options that can cut down on the gallons of water you use each morning.
  • Turning off the water while you brush your teeth
  • Only running your dishwasher or clothes washer when you have a full load.
Yes. If you're interested in buying a new home or property, it's smart to hire a contractor or a plumbing service to not only tell you if the building's foundation is sound, but also if the pipes are in good working order.
  • Don't use your toilet or kitchen sink like a trash can by stuffing hard to flush material down the drain or pouring fats and oils down the pipe.
  • Throw coffee grounds and eggshells in the garbage instead of in your sink.
  • Only use your toilet to flush human waste and toilet paper
