Sundial Plumbing Services
I recently needed a plumber and fortunately for me, I chose Sundial!! Of course these emergencies ALWAYS happen on the weekend and I was no exception. My water heater had sprung a leak. I only had a million other things I could have been doing instead of trying to find a good quality plumber. Nevertheless, I found Sundial's number and called them in a panic. I could tell from the moment I spoke with their knowledgeable service rep, that this was a top-notch company. I was impressed that they 1) answer the phone on the weekend and 2) provide emergency service on the weekend. I was notified when my tech, Gary, was on the way to my home. Upon Gary's arrival, he instantly put me at ease. I liked that Gary was able to quote me an exact price for what needed to be done. He was friendly and confident. Answered my questions and explained as he went. He worked efficiently and wiithin a couple hours, I had a brand new heater. What... a ...relief. Thanks for coming to my rescue, Sundial!

Sundial Plumbing Services
When we had a leak pop up on a Sunday, Sundial agreed to send out a tech. He diagnosed our leak as coming from our bathtub (cost to fix: $3600). But we quit using that bathtub and the leak grew so we called again. The same plumber came out and again insisted it was the bathtub. My wife had to insist he cut through the drywall to look. Sure enough water was spitting out of the cold water line to the upstairs sink. He tried to repair by soldering, but as he was packing up to leave we noticed it was still leaking. So he replaced the pipe, and responded to my concern about high water pressure by recommending we replace our water heater. We declined; he seemed disappointed to leave with only a $500+ bill. We were left with a chewed up ceiling (he started cutting under the tub and had to keep cutting) and solder embedded in our carpet. Disappointing...

i had severe problems with a malfunctioning toilet and water pressure. the plumber arrived promptly on time, introduced himself & handed me his business card. his diagnoses was that i needed a new toilet and a pressure reducing valve. my wife is a stickler for details & wanted to know about options for the new toilet (height, seat design, etc.). he quickly answered all of her concerns (something i can rarely do), and was on his way to pick up the toilet of her choice. he returned within the hour, quickly replaced the toilet & installed a new pressure reducing valve. he cleaned the bathroom floor, leaving it spotless. the service and the installations were done far beyond my expectations. i would not hesitate to give sundial my highest recommendation!

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
My plumbing professional was Angel (3010). I did not have an emergency but he was at my door within hours. I could not be more pleased with my service call. I was experiencing problems with a sump pump in my basement which was already there when I purchased my home last year. He immediately knew the issue by listening to the mechanism perform. He evaluated my pump and determined there were some issues with the way it was installed ( a DIY project with the previous owner). He corrected all of the issues and I now have an odor free basement. I highly recommend Roto Rooter for their great service and reasonable pricing. I especially recommend Angel for his expertise, patience in working through my issues with an older home and professionalism!

Coolray & Mr. Plumber
Great Company I needed my 14 year old HVAC replaced. CoolRay came out and explained all the different systems available and assessed my needs based on square footage. They recommended the mid range model instead of the higher range I was looking at. They installed the new furnace and A/C unit in one morning and took time to explain how to work the new Thermostat. What I like most is their FREE LIFE TIME WARRANTY on Parts and Labor and it’s transferable if I sell my house. Can’t ask for anything more.

Coolray & Mr. Plumber
I am so happy with the service I got when my kitchen sink backed up. I had 2 visits because the first technician’s rooter line was too short. There was no charge for that visit, and the company sent a second tech out right away and I was very impressed with all the service including the phone customer sevice. The specialist Mike Rice deserves high praise for his demeanor as well as his plumbing expertise. I highly recommend Mr. Plumber.

Plumb Life LLC
Matt, owner of Plumb Life, was exceptional! He provided me a great price—and service. I deal with so many contractors with our home and most, sadly, are nice only until they get the deal. Then, they produce less than quality work, they're rude, and leave the job not as promised. Matt, however, came through on all! I highly recommend Plumb Life.

Coolray & Mr. Plumber
We had service from Gary at our home. What a PRO, prompt professional, no mumbo-jumbo, simple explanation of what caused the problem and how he would fix it. Then he did! Coolray installed this unit in 1997 (Trane 1200). 3 service calls in 15 yrs. Hat's off to Gary and Cool Ray!

Barnett Plumbing & Heating Inc
They installed a water heater for me, did a great job at a very reasonable price. They showed up on time. Did the work for the price they quoted even after they ended up having to do some extra work to get the water heater to fit in the space I have.
Tips & Advices
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
  • Before calling a plumber, try to unclog your drains and toilets yourself by using a plunger.
  • Make sure you use a standard bell-shaped plunger for your sink and shower drains and a plunger with a flanged end for your toilets.
  • If neither type can loosen the pipe blockage, put a plumber's snake to use.
  • Ratchet the snake down the pipe to eliminate any clogs.
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
If you're having hot water issues, you can examine the thermostat and adjust it accordingly. If you hear odd sounds coming from your water heater, it could be due to sediment building up. To get rid of this, make sure you clean out the heater every few months. However, if you hear a boiling noise, it could mean the heater is overheating and you should call a plumbing professional as soon as possible.
