Price Termite & Pest Control
Do not hesitate to call Price Termite & Pest Control. They are a professional and personable company. Very knowledgeable about all types of pest control. I have a pet bunny that is a house pet, not caged, and they are so careful of what they use and even give him some attention when they come to spray. They are fair in price and go the extra mile to get your problem resolved. I bought a townhouse and was overrun with ants, bees and palmetto bugs as apparently the HOA fees covered the outside but that was only as good as the company they hired, so not good. My neighbors had same complaints I had and more so I gave them Jon s card and told them to contact Price. Also suggested to property manager they should use this company. What more can I say? Are you dialing yet?
Tips & Advices
Baits can be effective in situations where you're dealing with a relatively small number of pests. But in cases where there is a full infestation, pest control sprays usually provide a quicker and more thorough solution. Keep in mind, though, that sprays can be toxic to both humans and the environment. In many cases, baiting can be a safer and less hazardous choice.
Yes, many commercial pest control companies offer green products. Certain pest control chemicals can be harmful to both humans and the environment. Some commercial pest control companies use eco-friendly, biodegradable options to keep pests in check, with active ingredients such as mint, rosemary, thyme, boric acid, and diatomaceous earth.
In many cases, pest control methods used in commercial and residential environments are the same, but there may be differences in the way these methods are implemented. For example, both residential and commercial pest control may incorporate pest exclusion, which aims to keep pests out by sealing and securing a building's access points. Since many commercial facilities cover much more space than the typical residence, implementation of this approach would be different.
Commercial pest control differs from residential in the amount of care required. Because many commercial facilities are much larger than the typical home or apartment, commercial pest control often entails more frequent service. While residential pest control usually requires monthly or quarterly service, commercial pest control may take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Certain pests are common in commercial settings. Rats and mice plague many businesses of all types. In addition to carrying diseases, such as tuberculosis and salmonella, rodents can cause costly damage by gnawing into pipe work and electrical wires. Bed bugs are a growing nuisance. These pests may be found in hotels and student accommodations, and they can even infest office furniture. Flies are commonly found in restaurants, bars, and food factories.
