YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

We have been dining at this restaurant for more than 15 years (and counting) and it has never disappointed. This place has been in town for more than 25 years and is the only one run and operated by a Japanese family (talk about authentic!). My children and I love their tataki and we never fail to get two orders of that every time. Some of my favorite sushi are their melt-in-the-mouth uni (freshest sea urchin), gunkan (spicy chopped scallops), creamy hamachi (yellowtail), sake (salmon), and unagi (grilled eel, I like mine well-done). Stop by the Clock Tower in downtown Danville if you want to have the freshest and most authentic Japanese food ever!

There a lot of restaurant s with good food no doubt and this is one of them. But what keeps me coming back is that comfortable at home feeling. Cozy up to the wine bar and chat with the host or hostess, the waiters or waitresses or the number of people that are just stopping by for some R & R. If Joe the owner happens to be about he will fill your ears with everything you want to know about wines\r Its a great stop before the movies for dinner or after for dessert.

The food was amazing! The service was top-notch! We made a reservation earlier in the week and we were seated right away when we got there. I had a seafood dish and my husband had the filet mingon. We were both thoroughly blown away with our entrees. And the waiter also recommended a dessert that we still salivate over to this day! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. And it is a great place for a romantic date.

I haven't ever posted on City Search before but I went to Piatti yesterday for Brunch in Danville and I was so impressed I thought it would be the right thing to do. Because it was a holiday involving lots of families I expected to grin and bear it through brunch with my wife. Much to my pleasant surprise the opposite was true. Service was impeccable, the wait time was less than two minutes, and the menu was a delight with classic Italian cuisine & Californian influence in all the right places. The general manager (John?) made every guest feel like they were coming home - I've already made reservations for dinner next weekend.

The food seemed good but we've been there twice now & same experience as the others. Our food took well over an hour the first time then almost 2 hours the 2nd time to arrive and the service was terrible. No one apologized and they kept telling us it was "on the way" and "almost done" when it clearly wasn't. Once they claimed they burned our food & had to start over? It was miserable as we have 2 kids and they were NOT happy. The waitress there were not nice or apologetic either. Too bad as if they could get their act together, they'd have a good business. Maybe it's time for all new staff - chef and servers?

This place is a reward! The breads are warm, soft, and delicious. The cakes will make you drool. Even the service and situation are great. They are warm, even if you come at 6am (they open from 6am - 4.30pm). For coffee, for breakfast, or even for meeting someone, this place is the best in Danville!

13.Ascona Pizza Co

I have enjoyed pizza all over California and Arizona and Ascona Pizza Co is my favorite by far! I live in Arizona now, but I occasionally visit Oakland area. I have rented a car from the airport with the sole purpose of dinning at Ascona Pizza Co -- when I could have just taken a shuttle to my hotel. I love pizza and the honey beer here. The topings are heaped on and are very good -- perfectly cooked! The sauce, spices and crust are also very good. There is something extra special about their pizza that I can not descibe. I simply enjoy it more than any other pizza joint on the West Coast.

Simply the best Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. A real favorite of everyone who's ever had the pleasure of eating there. It is my favorite restaurant. I could eat there every night - so tasty, so fresh.\r \r In a cozy location in Danville, just off the main restaurant row. Easy parking in front on a side street. \r \r In all honesty, I've never had a bad meal, or one I'd even consider mediocre. The flavors and freshness are fantastic. Crisp vegetables. Properly cooked seafood and meat. Never oily/greasy food (like so many other Asian cuisines). My mouth is salivating just thinking about their food.\r \r If you are interested in quality food with outstanding flavors at reasonable prices in a cozy low key location, give Thai House a try. \r \r Highly Recommended.

I loved the atmosphere!!!!!!! The cranberry orange scones were just the best I have ever tasted. The staff was very helpful in choosing favorites on the menu and they were so up beat and friendly. We started with some pastries and muffins and lattes everything looked so god my friends and myself decided to get a few of the muffins and scones so we could try them all. For lunch we all tried the beet salad which was GREAT, it had grapefruit on baby arugala with beets and a wedge of blue cheese and a wonderful vinegarette dressing. Then for lunch we all had our own ... 2 of us ordered the proscuitto and guyere cheese on tuscany bread.. again GREAT!! My onther friend had the burger which loked fab!We also all shared the fried brussel sprouts with the leon aoli WOW SOOOOOO GOOD. I am very full now and cannot wait to go back and try some other items and let some more of my friends know about this great new place.. LOVE IT.. for those of you wondering where it is? It is in the Danville Hotel you can't miss the huge fork and spoon handles on the front door and inside is a warm and welcoming atmosphere you just have to go and see for yourself... Bravo to the new owners and we will see you soon...
20.The Vine at Bridges
480 Hartz Ave
This is a wine bar that is owned by the same people as own Bridges restaurant in Danville. But it is at a different street address and operates separately from the restaurant. While some Bridges restaurant reviews mention this nearby wine bar, there is no Trip Advisor page for The Vine. I'd like to write a review of our recent experience there. Look forward to The Vine at Bridges appearing as its own page so I can do that. Thanks!
