YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Bars in Chicago, IL
Serving the Chicago area. River North's Favorite Neighborhood Pub.
731 N Wells St
while living in North Chicago, there was no place better to have a good time at an inexpensive price than going to The Brehon Pub. The staff - always friendly, and never let you glass go dry. Whether it was a shot of Absolut and a LaBatt's BLue or Three Wise Men and Bacardi 151, Chad and the gang always made quality dirnks at a fair price.

I went to the M Lounge site unseen, strictly based off of comunication with the manager, and the user reviews. I loved it!! I reserved the sitting area for 10 on a Saturday to celebrate my 25th birthday, the service and atmosphere was awesome. The drinks were the best (not watered down), and well worth the price. I will definitely go again.

Ravens is a good place to meet people and not spend a ton of money. The juke box has a decent selection, but can use a little more R & B. Drink are affordable and the bartenders don't make you wait an hour for a cocktail.

Not only is this the oldest bar on Division St, but it's also one of the best. They always have great food specials, and the environment is great. Highly recommended.

I think that this is one of the best bars in the city. Small, but the staff is very friendly. They have a ton of different Irish whiskeys & a ton of beers to choose from.

Great bar, great chilidogs, if they only had hot-wings and cheese fries I wouldn't have to vacation at the Dells every year. Service is fantastic and they serve trolls too.

I found this place one day after shopping at a Home Depot across the street. The place is immaculate! I had been doing some painting that day and felt a little under dressed when I walked in. The owner greeted me and after a brief chat, he assured me that my clothes were fine and despite the pristine interior, Pure was a really laid back place. I sat by the fireplace which was a great offset to an overcast day. I ordered a latte and had a ham and swiss panini, with grilled veggies on the side. The food, latte, and service were outstanding. What really knocked me out was that they were showing UEFA soccer match's that day. I asked if this was standard practice and was told that they have soccer and football packages. This is a great alternative for soccer fans that can't go to Fado's or the Globe, or any fan that actually likes to sit down and enjoy a match. The space is huge and spread out and has 8 big flatscreen HDTV's. Although the restaurant was busy, there was plenty of room for everybody to watch the games. This place is a cafe, restaurant, lounge, bar, and soccer pub. They have something for everyone and it's worth checking out. I'll go back without a doubt, and I'm not just saying that because Liverpool FC won that day. Cheers!!

Contrary to the review I just read, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the visual ambience and entertainment. Fortunately, I have been able to attend a show on Wed. Thurs and Sat. to see the difference in the entertainment. I believe that the Thursday show consists of spoken word mostly and some comedians and vocalists. I know that Wednesdays have open mic for comedy and I have seen numerous local comedians there, cause its one of my favorite nights being that the hosts are Deon Cole and Damon Williams and they are some of my favorite Chicago comedians. I've only been to a weekend show once but the talent then was great also. I saw Teddy Carpenter there just last week. The very personable box office person explained to me that only accredited comedians were booked for the Friday & Saturday shows so BET Comic View and Bad Boys of Comedy acts are featured every weekend. I plan to go back to see more shows on the weekend. This is how the comedic acts we love today made it to the point they are at..by being introduced on local circuits. Its a comedy club...we go there to be entertained no matter how many people are there, its still a comedy club and comics have to be funny to be at a comedy club - not a restaurant, not a nightclub but a comedy club! I will support any business that has great service with a SMILE, valued entertainment and a nice environment. We need more venues like Jokes and Notes because the nightlife in Chicago is getting to be the same old - clubin' or going to the movies. I suggest if you are looking for something fresh and fun - try Jokes and Notes on any day and you are surely to be entertained!

Gotta love a place like this. The perfect after-work, sophisticated, mature, chill, meet greet and drink, place. The view outside, and the ambience inside you just can't beat. Enjoy the fab appetizers, and fine wine, and celebrate CHANGE in CHICAGO!!

I know a lot of Chicago Locals dis the Rush and Division Bars, but I can tell you that this bar is Awesome! I have been here so many times that it's ridiculous. I love the atmosphere and you get to meet some really cool people here. On the weekends this place is hoppin', but during the weeknights it is a little slower and a great place to just hang out. I go here quite often and enjoy every minute of it.
