Champaign Dental Group
My experience started with an emergency dental visit, they did the exam and a root canal during this visit. My whole family now goes here and we all agree this is going to continue to be our family dentist. My daughter Alexis and I have both had root canals there, both were quick and painless. One time during an extensive cleaning, they realized that I had later work scheduled on the side of my mouth that was currently numb. Instead of having me come back another time, they went ahead and did the work right then. We have had several other visits between the whole family.....each and every time the entire staff is friendly and the pain is kept to a minimum. I know nobody enjoys going to the Dentist but if I got to go its going to be Dr. Collins office at Champaign Dental Group. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, as a matter of fact my daughter will be getting her braces there shortly. :)Grateful Patients,The Thomas Family

Gray Yallaly & Black DDS
I've been going to Dr. Gray since I was born. I've lived a couple other places over the years (I'm 20), and have never been nearly as satisfied as when I go to Dana. He's a jovial guy, gets down to business, and is sure to do whatever it takes to get me feeling better, even if it means telling me what i dont wanna hear. I've had expanders, and I suffer from TMJ, and the cleaners tailor their technique so that they dont hurt my jaw. Every other dentist I've been to leans onto my jaw like it's a table, and it causes excrutiating pain for days. But not the techs at Gray, and not Dr. Gray! They're all wonderful people and wonderful doctors, I dont ever want to go to anyone else.

Dr. Martin and his staff are wonderful. The ladies at the front desk greet me by name when I walk through the door. Susan, the hygienist, is very sweet and doesn't hurt me while flossing. Dr. Martin is super efficient which I love. He's not super chatty but he's nice…doesn't ask me questions while he's working (which I never understood why dentists did that).

I have been coming here for two years now, and have had a great experience each time! The dentists, hygienists, and business assistants are always VERY friendly and easy to talk to about any questions or issues. I would recommend this place not only for the wonderful atmosphere but also the great work they do each time on my teeth! :)

Patterson & Parsons Family Dentistry
Best dental office I have ever been too. They are nice, and you can tell they really want to help get my teeth taken care of. Plus they are not over priced. They offer care credit, and are also in network with my insurance. Love this place! I actually enjoy going to the dental office.

Dr. Patterson is phenomenal. I never had the impression that she was busy or distracted; rather she was very thorough and patiently answered all of my questions. The care shown was off the charts. I honestly can say I've never been treated so well by a health care professional before.

Dentists scare me and the thought makes my stress jump but I was able to get oral sedation and the staff was so comforting that it made me want to come back and continue to make my smile brighter.

I've been anxious of going to the dentist since I was young. Thanks to Dr. Sabbia, Dr. Martin, and everyone at the clinic, I was able to overcome that fear! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Aspen Dental
Waited almost two hours before seeing the dentist. So much for trying to schedule things. Corporations are not the best thing for medical care. I think people need more of a personal touch.

Dr Scott and Dr Schorsch have made my dental cleanings very enjoyable, and his staff is really great. I also love their office, very convenient. Great group of people working there!
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
