Gordon Pro Tree Service
Had 2 very large trees removed from front yard. Gordon Pro Tree Removal completely removed all evidence of trees being there. Also pruned 3 other trees. Excellent work, excellent clean up and good fair pricing! Would definitely recommend.

Gordon Pro Tree Service
A great Tree Service and I'm proud of the beautiful work that was done by Gordon Pro Tree Service, I got a free estimate and two days later they were here, they got the work done bringing down Tall trees, and pruning others as only a pro could do.They were very reasonable with their cost. They are the one I would call again...

Gordon Pro Tree Service
The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. He came out to do the estimate with his credentials in hand. I had gotten 4 other estimates and his was the best. The service was great and the clean up was awesome as well. I would highly recommend this company for tree removal.

Gordon Pro Tree Service
I called Gordon Pro Tree Service when three of my 75+ -year-old oak trees died after being drastically pruned by another tree service. From a heartbreaking experience of losing my three beautiful trees shading my 117-year-old family farmhouse, I found GPTS to be unbelievably anxious to help me. They were completely sympathetic to my sense of loss and the frustration of having paid for someone to destroy my trees, then refusing to help me restore my property. They came the next day after my call for an estimate, gave me a most reasonable price (half of another service's estimate), then, the very next morning they came to take down my dead trees. I firmly believe that no tree service could have been kinder, more reasonable in price or more skilled and professional! The three young men who came for the job were simply superb in every way! I was even more impressed when talking to the owner of the business when I called to praise the men and their work.

All Steps Covered Tree Service
Hired them to clean a section of gutter and downspout. Charged me $125 to blow air around on the roof and downspout. Didn't fix the problem. I had to hire another company to fix it right. They don't offer refunds and they don't know how to clean gutters professionally. I would not hire them again.
Tips & Advices
Do your due diligence and always ask for proof of insurance and certification before agreeing to any work. You will also want to be on the lookout for telltale signs of scams and be cautious of any company that:
  • Will not provide you with a certificate of their insurance policy or only has general liability coverage
  • Declines to give you a written estimate for the job
  • Gives you bids that either seem very low or very high
  • Contacted you out of the blue to see if you needed their services
  • Has complaints against it from business bureaus in your area
  • Asks for payment before starting work
  • Doesn't have a fixed physical address
Tree service companies are also great places to get your wood if you happen to have a fireplace. Many tree businesses offer free delivery and stacking of hardwoods, such as maple or birch. These can make for the best firewood because they burn slowly and don't produce as much smoke as other types.
If you want to add to the greenery in your yard but you're concerned about the right species to plant or where to put it on your property, seek the advice of an arborist.
If a storm hits and damages your residence, a tree service professional is usually on your list of people to call for help after first responders and your insurer. A professional service can completely remove a tree or just prune and saw off its branches if a storm damages a tree. After sawing or destroying the tree, professionals can then remove any of the dangerous debris from your yard by hauling it off.
Some bugs burrow through the bark and damage hardwood and softwood trees. Depending on the species of trees in your yard and the region of the country you live in, aphids, the infamous emerald ash borer or other pests could destroy your healthy trees.
