Patel Marzban DDS MS
I don’t usually take the trouble to write reviews online, but I was so impressed with Dr. Patel, I felt I had to share it here. I just recently decided it was time to find a new dentist as I was having some trouble with my teeth, and found Dr. Patel online. The office is very pleasant and clean. The music he has playing is very soothing. Dr. Patel works on one patient at a time, unlike some other offices where the dentist is running from one treatment room to another. His complete attention is on his work, and he is very thorough. He is the best dentist I have ever gone to! He demonstrates real patience and takes the time to explain why you need the treatment plan he is recommending. He has a very gentle touch, and has completely taken away any fear of visiting the dentist that I used to have. He did a couple of crowns and some fillings on me, and I am completely satisfied with his work. Also, the receptionist called me on the day of my appointment, to let me know that Dr. Patel was running behind, because he had to fit in an emergency patient in his schedule. I appreciated that call very much. I have PPO dental insurance and the office knows exactly how it works.I give my highest and strongest recommendation to Dr. Patel, hope I get to have him as my dentist for many years to come, and will be sending all my friends and family members to him as well!

Christine Vitello DDS
The BEST!!!!! Dr. Chris and Ros have always worked in emergencies and have the most flexible hours. For over 25 years, I've known many of her patients. Never have heard a critical complaint. I have heard many wonderful compliments. She has the values of "the doctors that used to make house calls". She has repaired mistakes made by other dentist. While traveling, she took and returned my phone calls from Houston, Toelle, UT, and California. She saved me many root canals and teeth removals. I'm not the easiest of patients, as I have necrotic jaw bone. Chris and her staff are real life angels and have just the most wonderful patient bedside manner for people at all stages of life. Chris had a Lou Gehrig's patient. The patient felt so much alive and happy after her appointments with Chris. The other ALS health care folks really never did.

Dr. Patel is by far the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of going to.I have never had any issues with the work he has done, and in fact, the results have lasted for a long time. I had a couple of root canal treatments and a few crowns and fillings done. It was painless and the color match on the crowns was amazing. His patience and diligence in his procedures is evident from the moment you sit down in the chair, to the moment you leave it.I trust no one with the health of my teeth and gums more than I trust Dr. Patel.I have been going to Dr. Patel for over 25 years and am so happy with him that despite having moved to another city, I would rather pay the money to fly back to St. Louis, to get work done, than go to anyone new.I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who is lucky enough to be seen by him.

Cartwright Family Dental
This is a small office, nothing fancy, but they do a fine job. Dr Cartwright is very nice and my son who hated going now doesn't mind because he was so friendly with my son. So far I have not had any issues with them.

I hate dental shots!!! But with Dr Bozoian, I never felt the novacane, even with the three teeth he fixed. One tooth was extremely sensitive and they fixed it! Thank you Dr Steve for returning my "happy mouth" :-)

Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
