I went to Brewer's Art with a group of 10 people to celebrate my birthday. The accommodations were easy for them, even at the tail end of restaurant week. We got in a little earlier than we would normally eat, and the service remained impeccable throughout the busy dinner hour. The food was really amazingly good, and their beer and drinks were great too. After dinner, we went down to the charmingly almost-divey bar. It was a blast!

Kolpers is a great place to relax and have a wonderful meal at. There menu has something for everyone and there presentation of food is amazing. I went to Luckie's Tavern for Frozen Harbor music fest. I was asked to remove my hat. I was wearing a stocking cap because it was 35 degrees out. I informed him it was too cold to remove my hat, he insisted I remove it so I decided I would just leave. I noticed on the way out that several patrons had hats on and were not being asked to remove them (this was a Saturday night & the place was packed). On the way out the door, I told the door man that I thought it was unethical that they profile patrons wearing stocking caps & beanies but not people wearing baseball caps. He told me they reserve the right to enforce a dress code if they wish. I informed him I reserve the right to not agree with said policy and would not be coming back if they choose to discriminate. After insisting I was being "drunk & belligerent", they called the cops over to escort me off the premises altogether (by the way, I hadn't had anything to drink all night). I am not sure why that was necessary since I had already left the bar. I guess he did not like me voicing my displeasure. Three cops walked over to escort me out of the Power Plant Live, all of them wearing hats of course, 1 was a stocking style hat & the others were police hats. The hypocrisy and irony was dumbfounding.

Totally FAB Darling. My partner and I enjoyed an evening out in Celebration of our union in The Westcoast- We tied the knott in Palm Springs, our lovers get-a-way for forever! Our time there at your establishment was a night to remember. Huge Selection of Cigars, VERY friendly help, everyone seemed to be happy and the electric in the air for new cigars and sharing and information . . . so fab learning how to cut and light a cigar the right way. I even had my first cuban given to me by a very handsom fellow. (Sorry Dan!) I had to mention it! Thanks whoever you were! Smooch, Smooch! Totally recomend it but note, it's very strong and manly type environment . . . . Just what we wanted! :)

I use to love this bar really!!! But the more and more I go in the owners rules change. From one minute to another. When turning the TV'S louder then the juke box after a customer puts in money. Or saying No you cant play pool when a football game is on? REALLY???

Zissimo's is the worst bar in Hampden. It is a rundown dive full of crackheads and drug pushers. The place stinks of urine and vomit. There are fights there almost every weekend. If you like having to look over your shoulder all the time, then this is the place for you. Otherwise I suggest steering clear of this hole in the wall.

This is nice clean place to go to enjoy yourself, with plenty of food, drink, and entertainment. The prices are great and the beer is cold... Lol.. But overall I have returned on several different occasions and enjoyed myself each time. So the family and staff of the Pelican continue your great services and look forward to seeing me more often:)

After 2 years of living in Baltimore and never finding a decent pizza, I finally took my extremely picky pizza loving husband to what is now Pub Dog (it used to be Thirsty Dog until some idiots in Ohio decided to copywrite the name) and ended up having a fantastic meal. This seat yourself restaurant might normally cause concern in terms of service as many of the tables are secluded, but we found that just the opposite is true, the waitstaff is friendly, hard working, and very attentive. Everything was delicious. We ordered the Dog Pound Pizza and the Rasberry Dog and Black Dog beers (I love the 2 for $4 special ) for less than $20 for the two of us. My husband finally found pizza he loves in Baltimore and the waitress even made some recommendations as to where we can find good Italian subs. We will absolutely return!

I Love Orpheus, finally a place where I can shed my inhibitions and become the dark princess of my (and everyone elses) dreams! Orpheus is not a kids bar though, so I am heartened to see that it is a strict over 21 place. People at this bar are very nice and accepting, a good place to dance and be free. But it is still primarily a gothic club, so if you are curious then at least show up in black. Jeans are not out of the cards, but you might feel a bit self-conscious. If you have an open mind and are cool with people then definitely go check it out!

The staff is so nice, including Holly, Ryan and Matt who are the best bartenders!! Also they always have great drink specials and a great late night happy hour!!

I've met friends here a couple times and sometimes it's fun, sometimes weird. You get the runoff of whatever staggers over from downtown so this can be entertaining, at least .
315 W Franklin St
Visited the PLACE last night on the advise of Darker Than Blue Restaurant. It's downtown location is near major attractions. The atmosphere was right the moment I walked in. Yes it's grown and sexy, safe and many varieties of adult beverages. The music rocks from DC house to banging R&B. Can't wait to return.
