Purity Cylinder Gases, incorporated in 1938, is a charter member of the National Welding Supply Association. The company is also a member of American Welding Society, various chambers of commerce and credit groups. In 1980, Purity Cylinder Gases purchased Airway Oxygen, a supplier of home medical equipment in Michigan. Purity Cylinder Gases also began manufacturing acetylene in Grand Rapids, Mich., and serves western Michigan and northern Indiana. The company supplies gas requirements, hardgoods, industrial gases, high-volume gases, and bulk gases. It also offers an extensive line of safety items, and a variety of rental equipment. Purity Cylinder Gases provides specialty gases, and automation equipment, including cutting machines and robotics. Purity Cylinder Gases is located in Wyoming, Mich.
