NC Truck and Diesel, Inc.

We took a dump truck to be repaired and it was unable to be repaired. The truck was there for approximately one and one half years due to mechanic issues and also our slowness in not contacting the office for updates on the repairs. Finally we were told the truck could not be fixed and were given a bill for $3150.00 for things they had fixed on the truck. The truck had to be towed from the facility after we paid them for the "replacement parts and repairs." When the mechanic that towed the truck (another repair shop) began looking at the engine he found no new parts had been put on the truck and repairs paid for on the receipt had not been done. This mechanic was able to have the truck running in one day and returned the truck to us. We took photos of the engine and went to NC Diesel to discuss this issue with them. They appologized for the mistake and stated they were very busy last year and it was there mistake the parts were not put on. I expected a refund for the parts and work that wasn't done. However after a discussion in the office NC Diesel returned the entire $3150.00 to us with a heartfelt apology. Not many businesses would do this. I appreciate their honesty and would probably allow them to work on another truck if necessary.
