I had a wonderful massage and facial Wednesday, The spa is charming and inviting, you relax as soon as you step inside. My therapists were amazing; Videll herself and Erin/Eva for the facial. I can't wait for my next visit.

I have gone to other spas in the area and have visited this spa on several occasions with my Mother some instances and others on my own and give it a good rating. Videll is very professional and does a good job...she is very serious about her business and respect goes two ways....she is very well rounded and if you talk to her you will know what experience she has had in the beauty business....ask her. Her spa is very clean and the women that work for her try to do their best...some are new so they are just learning as we all do. Give her a chance, I think you will like her...I will certainly revisit.

I felt compelled to write a second review because of the negative ones. I have to say that Videll runs a business, not a Ladies Auxiliary Club. If you are on time, if you provide ample notice of any cancellation, and treat the staff with courtesy, then you get first class service. I can't speak about the other therapists, but Videll puts more effort into her massages than anyone I have ever known. With most therapists, you have to ask them to apply more pressure, because light massages are easy. And if you want a lighter massage from Videll, just ask her! I get my money's worth every single time.



I read the comment about the appearance of the spa, and I couldn't disagree more. I don't like dingy, unkempt places, but Videll's spa is always immaculate, bright, and organized.



So give her a chance if you want a massage that really gets the kinks out! And read the negative reviews with a healthy skepticism.

The atmosphere is totally wonderful - soothing, calming, very clean and quiet with delicious aromas and soft sounds. For special occasions, a massage session with Videll also makes an excellent gift. It's an experiential, beneficial and therapeutic gift that easily beats giving someone another item that collects dust, doesn't fit or they can't use. Giving couples a gift of a "couples massage" is the best! Videll adds her special touches to make it truly memorable for the pair.



We have had many massages on vacations and at other spas in the area, but none come close to the excellent experience we consistently enjoy at Vidells Day Spa.

Videll runs a truly professional business. You get great service, and for a reasonable price. I have never once been kept waiting for a massage, and Videll gives you a solid hour of hard work. Her 20 years of experience shines through during each massage, and even at the end of the day her concentration is still ticking. She knows when to keep a conversation going, and when to let you simply relax. I would recommend her to anyone, without reservation. I can't speak for the other therapists in her spa, but I'll bet she has very high standards for her staff.

I was given a gift cert to this spa and brought along a couple friends for a spa day. We were treated to a fantastic massage & facial along with sharing some friendly stories with the owner. We all plan on returning!!

Videll is AMAZING! I have been going to her for almost a year now for waxing services and she has always done a phenominal job. She is very professional and at every step she goes above and beyond to make certain that you are comfortable. She has a great staff and the atmosphere is very positive. The value of the services is far more than what you pay and I will always be a client and refer others.

Ive been feeling very sick lately with all kinds of body aches and back pain. I went in for a massage and Videll recommended this treatment called isocloeanse which I had heard of but didnt know much about. Basically, what it does is cleanse your body of toxins through your feet! The water turns different colors according to what part of your body is being detoxified. Anyway, I dont know if it was the massage or the treatment but I felt amazing the next day! I booked a series of 6 more isocleanse sessions and plan on accompanying each one with a relaxing massage! My sister had visited this spa and recommended it to me, I was finally able to clear out some time for my busy schedule and it was so great! I was able to relax and completely disconnect!! Unlike like any spa that I have been to the massage was great and the products that they used were top of the line. Im hoping to make this a relaxing ritual of mine!!

This is the best spa ever Videll was so understanding of all my skin needs and gave so much time just for one person and didnt rush anything took her time, the staff was helpfull and neaver made me feel unwanted at all. I came with my pj's on and the woman next to me came in with the high hills on and thay treaed both of us the same way . i will go back there and the prices anit bad eather conpared to other places. The back rub was allsome and the face mask i got just refeshed my face to a new me. I so recemend u too try her place of business ull go back again and a again the treat u like u should be treated and no different then rich people so please try the spa and u want waist ur money

A girlfriend and I had an the greatest massges here. We both thought it was the best massages weve ever had. We also got Mani's and Pedi's which look great. They fill a bowl with flowers and scents which was very nice. Thank you Videll!

Absolutely the best spa in Delaware! The massage and body scrub left me feeling relaxed and my skin silky smooth. Really affordable prices and the staff was so great. Will definetley do again very soon!

I was worried based on some reviews about this visit. I went through a DealChicken purchase. It actually went pretty well. Definitely more old school with the facial, no steam machines, hot towels. Videll did leave during the facial mask, I would have appreciated the normal hand/arm neck massage I have always gotten elsewhere. Body scrub was ok ... Massage was AMAZING!!! That made my day totally worth it. A guy did my massage and certainly worked out the kinks. Videll was pleasant I didn't have any problems with her. Nice conversation. I will go back. Hopefully next Deal Chicken special with be for massages.

My visit to Videll's Day Spa was enjoyable and relaxing. I was greeted by a warm hello and her Westie, Bella. The deep tissue message was just right to relieve the stress for many long work days. The body scrub left my skin soft and silky. To finish off my day of pampering, I had the manicure and pedicure. The conversation with Videll during the day was refreshing and a welcomed change from the hectic business world environment.. If you want a spa with the personal touch, visit Videll's and leave the world behind for a few hours. I will be visiting Videll's again when in town.
