        No big deal to me. The chicken is for some reason "sweet" tasting like they add sugar to the badder. Some what better than White Fench Farm. That place is soooooo over rated. Chicken has no seasoning, and rather pricey for what you get. The cheapest stuff and it's probably all out of a can. Kidney beans, beets and cottage cheese?????? Pulleaze!!!!!!!!! Even Chicken Basket needs some seasoning, pretty bland!

        cozy and down home

        Saw the tv episode that show cased the restaurant and wanted to give it a try. I do not eat meat but heard rave reviews about their macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese was very good, but the home made jalapeno poppers were awesome. My family got the fried chicken and said it was very good. It wasn't earth shattering good, but they enjoyed it. I was surprised how small inside it is, gives it a cozy feel. Friendly staff.

        Delicious Lunch Buffet & Chicken

        I dont know what's wrong with some of the other people who've been here based on the other reviews....but this place has an AWESOME lunch buffet. $8.95 for all you can eat chicked, soup, salad bar, and desert. I had a fried chicken breast (delicious homemade breading) mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed veggies, and some coleslaw. It was all wonderful...I WILL be going back!

        Old Fashioned Treasure of a Restaurant

        In this age of nation-wide chain restaurants, it is wonderful to have an old fashioned hidden treasure of a restaurant in Willowbrook. Lacking a modern look, it delivers great tasting chicken and other foods in a bar/diner setting at a reasonable price. The buffet lunch, Tues.-Fri is a budget find!!! Don't be put off by it's hard to find location---it is worth looking for!

        Best Chicken around

        All of the food is excellant at Dell Rhea's Chicken Basket. The frontage road on the northeast of I55 and Rte 83 exit will take you right to it. I like fried chicken, and I think the basket makes the best I've ever eaten.

        This place does have some hype behind it...They have good chicken at a decent price...but go the extra few mile to White Fence Farm, they are far better, and have a better location too.

        This place is hard to find, even harder to get to...

        Not only was the fried chicken good but also tried their grilled chicken which was terrific. Been theremany times and never had a bad meal or service. The waitresses are great.
