I really think either the 2 nasty reviews on here haven't been to Parlour before or have something personal against Josie for some unknown reason.



I have literally been going to Josie for my hair and brow sugaring since the year 2000 when she was at her start up salon. I have never had a negative experience other than it is hard to get an appointment with her. Which is a good thing for her, it means she knows what she is doing and is GREAT at it. She is kind, good natured and fun loving. I have yet to see her blood boil in any way what so ever. Whether it is in the salon in a professional environment or out since we have been come friends over the years and tend to see each other outside of the salon.



If you look at the prices of the services offered at Parlour and then look at prices elsewhere, you will see they are very competitive. Along with competitive prices, do not forget about great service and a great outcome hair wise. You will leave prettier than you felt walking in.

I'm not sure if the other two reviewers on YP even visited the same salon I have for the past five years. I've been a customer of Josie's for around eight years (even back before she owned Parlour) and I have never had a more accommodating, easy-to-talk to, kind stylist like her. I have blonde highlights that are really hard to get just right because I'm picky and my hair pulls a lot of red undertones. She always makes sure that I'm happy with the outcome after each appointment. I've had a lot of other stylists dismiss me or not worry about the quality of the work they've done, but that's not Josie's way.



I've witnessed her with other clients too and she is just as friendly with them as she is with me and I can tell she'll do anything to make sure her clients walk out happy.



I highly recommend Parlour. The atmosphere is calm, it's clean, the design is beautiful and another important thing is that no one there tries to hard sell you some hair products. That's another beef I've had with other salons.

I was recently at the Parlour for an appointment, and although it seems to be a very nice salon, I was very disappointed with my experience. While I was there, the owner who I believe is named Josie, got into a verbal argument with another customer and it escalated to her screaming and refusing to finish the customers hair. I thought it was extremely unprofessional and I will not be returning. When I go to a salon, I want it to be an enjoyable, relaxing experience..I do not want to listen to some loud mouth owner screaming at her customers like she is on the set of Jerry Springer. Take my advice and take your business elsewhere!
