Florentine Family Motel

I've been staying at the Florentine Family Motel in North Wildwood for years. It is an excellent, well run family motel located just steps from the beach and boardwalk. The owners and staff are professional, courteous and treat you like one of the family. They work very hard to make their guests' stay a pleasurable one; and it definitely shows because they do it right every time. As a nurse, I am a stickler for cleanliness. The house keeping staff do an excellent job of having the room clean upon check-in and cleaning it daily for the duration of your stay. When I stay at the Florentine, I feel comfortable knowing I'm in a clean motel room. I plan to continue booking summer vacations at the Florentine for years to come.

I love staying at the Florentine Family Motel! Always a friendly staff willing to help and satisfy the customers. George and Carol are so charming and easy to talk to which makes my visit so much more enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know staying in the Wildwoods!!

We have been vacationing in Wildwood for the past 22 years and we are so fortunate to have found the Florentine 5 years ago. We have stayed at the Florentine ever since then and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time - it far exceeds any other place we have stayed in Wildwood. The owners, and the staff, are all wonderful people that go out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The entire place is very clean and well maintained. We look forward to staying at the Florentine for many years to come!

First time at the Florentine. We had a family reunion in Wildwood and two of my brothers and their families also stayed. We all had a great time and the Florentine staff was more than accommodating. The entire property, rooms and surrounding area was clean, clean, clean! Very pleased. We'll be back...................

Just came home from Irish Weekend stayed at the Florentine once again, not my first time there, always try and stay there. Owners were great, joanne at the desk was exceptional. rooms were very clean and bright.

Cannot wait to stay there again.

My wife and I and my 3 kids stayed at the Florentine motel from July 12th-16th(Mon-Fri) The people at the office were knowledgeable, nice, funny and professional. We stayed in the Combo room and the room was cleaned and replenished with all bathroom amenities, every morning. When I bought tickets to the 2 water park s and boardwalk they explained everything and even recommended what tickets were cheaper to buy on the boardwalk. You could even buy ICE at the office. This was a great experience and we will stay at the Florentine Motel again and we will recommend the Florentine Motel to others.

My wife, 6 y/o son an I had other vacation plans fall through and called the Florentine for a 3 night stay on short notice. They were very courteous on the phone and we stayed in the "2-Room Deluxe Efficiency" Although small, it was comfortable and EXTREMELY clean. The staff was friendly and very informative and helpful. It is one block from the Boardwalk and beach. You don't even need to cross a street to get there. Drive in, park the car and forget about it for the length of your stay. The Hotel is between 19th and 20th. The Boardwalk rides start at 26th. It's about a 10 minute walk down the Boardwalk or there is a tram car that goes up and down the Boardwalk (2.50 per person each way).

We stayed on the beach all day, walked back to the hotel, rinsed off in the outdoor shower, ate on the Sundeck (Awesome) and then went for swim in the pool. Another rinse, short rest and then to the Rides. A short walk home, pour the 6 y/o into bed. Sit on the Deck, (Right outside our room) and then do it again the next day. Great.

Must comment again on the cleanliness of the entire hotel. It really was tremendous.

They also have discounted ride tickets and tram car tickets at the lobby. Really helpful

My daughter and I stayed at the Florentine Memorial Day Weekend. I wanted a clean, safe, family oriented motel close to the boardwalk with no craziness or wild guests. I also didnt want my daughter traveling far to hit the rides and games or beach. This was our first time at the Florentine and our first time in Wildwood in years. Not only did Carol, George and everyone make us feel at home, they treated us like family. Our maid Patty was wonderful. Our room was also perfect when we came back from the board walk or going out. The staff is outstanding. We always felt safe there. You would think we stayed there several times not for the first time. From food recommendations to coffee each morning everything is just excellent. We arrived very late due to my daughters classes ending late that Friday and they called us to make sure we were coming since we were so late. Any other place would have just rented out our room on a holiday weekend. The rooms were great for us. They were roomy, immaculate, and comfortable. I actually slept better there then at home. Anything you need they will help you with. I highly recommend this motel to anyone that wants a nice, safe, family -oriented place to spend their summer vacations. The location is perfect, the price is right and the staff and owners are great. We are going back 4th of July and Labor Day also since my daughter cannot get off during the week. Cant wait to go back and just relax at the pool.

My brother and I have stayed at the Florentine Family Motel for two consecutive summers, and have found it to be an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a quiet vacation in the Wildwoods. Located in North Wildwood, about 3 blocks back from the boardwalk, it is a 60s-style motel with a wide variety of rooms on three levels surrounding a pool. The room styles vary from one-room-with-a-bathroom all the way up to a multi-room apartment for multiple families. Parking is limited, but one space is allotted per family.



The hotel is definitely geared toward family life with a no-smoking policy, and a staff who is always around to help but also to enforce the rules. The place is kept spotless inside and out, and the owners live on the premises so they are always there to help out. There are outdoor grills and stoves in the rooms for those looking to save a few bucks on meals, and free wifi on the patio for those looking to check up on news or e-mail.



I can't recommend this place highly enough if you are looking for a quiet family vacation. If you're looking for a place to hold a party or beer blast, look elsewhere.
