Dr. Melhorn performed carpal tunnel repair surgery on my left hand in 2014. I had previous experience with this in 2008 in Colorado. There were complications due to severe RA and OA, plus Raynaud's. He was unsympathetic. His bedside manner is atrocious, but his surgical skills are excellent. I sent an uninsured adult to see him--with his consent--a year or so later, who had a badly healed broken wrist. Dr. Melhorn saw and treated this man pro bono. Despite his poor bedside manner, he managed to give his time and skill to someone less fortunate. So five stars.

Thought maybe the Dr. had some form of Autism, didn't really talk to you more so at you, he would not explain he would just do, eye contact ,if any was off. I got most of my info from when her spoke into his recorder.Told me if the injection he give me, which he just took the needle out gave me the injection, at no point or time tell me, or ask me if I wanted it,or what it was for, proceeded to tell me if this doesn't work you will need surgery and off he went.Did not go back!

Would advise looking else where for good Dr, the staff is nice but if you have a problem watch out the medical records Staff are very rude, the Dr has a terrible bed side manor and treats you like a broken toy on an assembly line running from room to room, I traveled 50 miles each way to see this Dr and he kept wanting me to return in a week this went on for 3 times with no diagnoses..I also had to pay 25 dollars each visit and did not get any thing for my money, do yourself a favore and find a Dr who has a bed side manor and is not just grabing your hard earned money
