Whitesboro Inn

Staff at front desk refused to provide a blanket when requested. Note I had personally stripped dirty sheets and comforter from the bed myself and although I had asked maid for fresh sheets and blanket she only handed me sheets and walked away leaving me to make my own bed. When I got ready for bed I was cold and went to office and again requested blanket and was told I would have to wait till morning.

Oh and ask me about the nasty rash that I got from the gross pillows. Lasted duration of stay and required antibiotics

We stayed here the last few times we came through and thoroughly enjoyed it. They do allow pets which is rare. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable for the room. We always get the connecting rooms when we travel with the kids. Would definitely recommend.

We are in the process of building a house and needed to stay in a motel for about 5 weeks and chose to stay at Whitesboro Inn because of the affordability ($200 a week), cleanness, and the location (15 minutes from my house being built). They tell us they are booked up for the weekend due to a wedding, we tell them that will be fine, and that we will just camp out that weekend and come back on Sunday night. After being told that we had a room for the rest of the time, in two weeks they tell us “oh, we are booked up for Memorial Day weekend and you will have to leave.”

While my kids and I are packing up, my brother calls the Inn and tells them he would like to reserve a room and that he might need a couple of more when he gets here. “Yes, we have plenty of rooms please come on in.” He comes and pays ($150) for the weekend and we move down eight rooms from a one bed with a pull out sleeper to a two bed. On Sunday evening, I go and pay my $200 for the week and ask to just stay in the room I am in, that is fine.

On Monday, my husband and I are shopping the Inn calls my daughter in the room and tell her that we need to come pay $25 dollars more for the room because it has double beds, and then proceed to deactivate the keys to the room. Husband goes up to the office and explains how we have been treated and how we do not appreciate being lied to and that he refuses to pay any more money. Office clerk responds, “I am not the owner and am only doing what I was told to do. You are getting loud sir and need to leave the office.” Husband responds, “I would if my damn key worked.” She activates the key and we leave.

It is now Wednesday and they have not contacted us again. We should be able to stay in the house come Sunday, which is good because they probably wouldn’t let a stay again anyway. The lesson here; these people are money hungry and uncaring. I had no problem paying more money I had a problem being kicked out.

They were kind, well accomodating and accepted pets! They were the BEST in my book!
