Avanti Hair Salon

I definitely recommend this hair salon. My mom got her hair done, the color came out great and the products they use are really good no damage to the hair was done. She also got the keratin treatment done with the use of a coupon and it didn't come out too expensive even though my moms hair is really long. I got my meni and pedi done and it came out beautiful. The design was so creative and original and it the best thing is that it lasted for long time.

The customer service at Avanti is terrible! I purchased a groupon for a hair treatment and a manicure. I scheduled the hair treatment online but when I called to schedule a manicure they told me they had no availability. When I got there, they had people just walk in for a manicure, without an appointment- but I couldn't get one.

They told me I had to pay extra $15 because my hair was long. They told me this extra charge was listed in the fine print of the groupon. I paid but then asked them to show me where in the groupon it was written. They pulled up a different offer than the one I purchased! I showed them mine- which had no mention of the extra charge, but they refused to honor it and refund the extra charge.

Also, the coffee, water, tea or wine offer? They asked me if I wanted some but then never actually gave it to me. I definitely would NOT recommend this salon.

I loved the service I received at the salon. The manicurist was very gentle and took her time to really make sure I had a pleasant experience. Most relaxing manicure/pedicure I have ever had in my life. I also got a root touch up and blow dry which I loved! They matched the color perfectly and the blow dry lasted about 3 days. They also offer coffee and wine which was a plus! I made an appointment to go back again, this was truly an amazing find. I would recommend it to all my friends.

Horrible customer service!!!!! I purchased a Groupon for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. Nowhere on the Groupon does it say that it has to be redeemed by the same person. I purchased it for my daughter and I to use together. When I called to confirm my appointment, they said it had to be used on two separate visits by the same person (which was nowhere on the Groupon rules). I asked to speak to the manager who was not only even nastier than the original employee I spoke to but also refused to honor the Groupon. I called Groupon, who looked at the Groupon details and said that Avanti should have honored it for the two people because it was supposed to work just like a Groupon for a restaurant would. It would not be limited to one customer at the table. I was luckily able to get my money back from Groupon but would never recommend this salon to anyone. The manager obviously has no business sense because if she had, she would have honored the Groupon. They lost a potential customer and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about my experience with them.
