There was a shooting at City Place on 8/27/16. The majority of patrons ran out of the back of the restaurant. My wallet insert flew out of my purse during escape. I discovered this the following day when I found it missing. Upon checking my online banking, I saw I was charged for my unfinished meal. I went to the restaurant and offered to give the server a tip via PayPal, despite my discomfort of being charged without a signature (I never intended to walk into the restaurant and not pay, but I also didn't expect to have to escape with for fear of my life), and he said it had been taken care of. That if we hadn't been charged, he would've had to pay for it. I was charged due to gravity, the other patrons fleeing in terror were not. THEY WENT INTO MY WALLET, PICKED A CARD, AND CHARGED. I would have willingly paid had I been asked. This was sneaky and backhanded. Shame on you. I will never dine at a "Jo" restaurant ever again.
