CarePartners Foundation, located in Asheville, N.C., is a nonprofit organization offering health care services to the community. The company was formed as a collaboration among five North Carolina health care providers. Its orthopedic program offers in-home services to individuals who have had joint replacements, fractures and backbone surgeries. Its cardio pulmonary program provides nursing service to patients with conditions, such as congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation. CarePartners neuroscience program serves people with impairments caused by trauma, stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's disease. It also offers industrial rehabilitation, such as worksite medical care and geriatric care management, including in-home services. CarePartners is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
