Morimoto's Automatic Transmissions

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 truck that has over 265,000 miles on it and the differential was howling. I shopped around to get an idea on what it would cost to correct the problem. I got prices from $$2,900 to 4,700. Scott gave me a detailed price on a complete rebuild which was under the $2,900 price and said we really won't know what it needs until we open the case. Well to my surprise when they cracked open the case to evaluate the cause of the noise. Nothing else needed to be replace so the quote was right on. I decided to go with Scott not only because his price was better but because I felt better going with someone that does that type of work on a regular bases and not just one or two rebuilds a year. Scott said that he would need my truck for about a week to get everything ordered and replaced. He was good on his price and did the work within the week that he promised. Part of the process requires that you go back after 500 miles so that he can drain and re inspect everything and make any adjustments that may be required and replace the gear lube. This was going to be tricky for me to go back because of my schedule but Scott said he would set me up for a Saturday appointment and do the work himself while I waited. As it turned out I had an excellent experience with Morimoto's Transmissions and would recommend them. Thanks to Scott and his professional team, my 1500 Ram is as good as new....

Having a nearly new, yet out of warranty F 150 with only 126k miles on it... I was in shock to discover it needed a new transmission. When I popped in unscheduled for my 200 mile checkup, Scott dropped everything, saddled up and took my vehicle out to drive it with me to listen to what worried me and what he could discern by the performance of my vehicle. No leaks, no issues. Nothing but highest praise for his talent and commitment to his customers. And one very important aspect of my interaction.... NO GENDER BIAS. My dealer has told me more than once "It's all in your head," when in reality, I had a fused spark plug causing my engine to cough and sputter upon acceleration. Morimoto Transmission service is definitely a woman friendly provider of auto repair. I will be going back for brakes too. I feel very fortunate to have become aware of such a great service entity, and my bank account is more fortunate too. All in all, a very cost effective and positive experience that made a very bad situation completely pleasant. Thank you Scott! I am thankful every day....
