Happy Sushi

BEST Sushi in the area! Great prices and portions! Very nice and clean inside. Highly recommend and will visit often.

My family visited this restaurant, excited for a new, close sushi place to frequent. However, we will NOT be back. EVER. The visit started with us walking in to an empty restaurant (it was lunchtime on a Saturday), where we had to wait for the sole server to finish watching a news report on the TV at the bar before he decided to seat us. Fast forward to our order - we ordered 5 sushi rolls and received only 4. The ones we did receive were not good, so we cancelled the one we didn't get. I can only compare the sushi to that of what you get pre-made at a grocery store, that has been sitting there for a day or two. Plus, the rolls were way too wide, making it impossible to eat in one bite as you should be able to. Although they were wide, they were very short, so only about 4 pieces per roll. To top it off, our server brought us our credit card bill to sign, then proceeded to stand there and stare at us as we added our tip to the bill. This was the most attention we got from him the whole time, even though we remained the only table in the place until we left. We were still hungry when we left ($45 later), so we took the $$ we would have spent on that 5th roll and went to buy a hot-n-ready pizza. That was definitely the best part of my lunch that day (and that isn't saying much). It is my bet this place, which recently opened, won't last long.
