In 1997, Jim was joined by his son-in-law, Rob Prodan. Rob is in charge of all field and product production, sales and marketing, land acquisition and architectural design. He is responsible for choosing the quality products and materials used in building HAV homes. Rob started in the building industry in 1988 when he formed his own company Prodan Construction Company, Inc., specializing in custom framing and minor renovations. He is also intensely involved with strategic planning for the company’s future.

“The purpose of this letter is to commend the sound and professional business practices of Home Associates of Virginia (HAV). In the fall of 2015, my partner and I began the home buying process and we chose to pursue a home in the Chicks Beach area of Virginia Beach where HAV had already begun construction. The plans for the home were gorgeous and we were extremely excited but also a bit apprehensive, as we had never purchased brand new construction previously and were not familiar with the process.”

“When we came to look at Sherwood Lakes we were taken aback at the layout of the subdivision. As you drive in through the gorgeously landscaped entrance you are greeted by the two lakes of serene water. The models are perfectly decorated and the workmanship is top notch. We were very impressed with their finish work, and the landscaping is beautiful through out the neighborhood. We love how each house looks out on to a common area which makes us feel more connected with our neighbors. We can sit out on our porch and enjoy the peaceful air and watch our children play and ride their bikes.

SOLD OUT – Contact us for upcoming communities by HAV. Each home at Hickory Landing offered either a traditional or craftsman-style elevation and included standard features that seem like upgrades.
