A & W Auto Tops and Upholstery

A&W was assigned my emergency towing services via State Farm at 12:47PM. It is now 5:40PM and my car has not been picked up. A&W has yet to reach out to me. They will not answer the phone and State Farm has called several times to check on me. Per State Farm, it took them several calls for A&W to answer to be told the pick up will be done by 3:45. State Farm stated that due to A&W not answering the phone for a second contact and eta, they are canceling the order and reassigning to another company. Needless to say State Farm states they will not be using A&W services any further.

This is has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I have waited for hours to get my vehicle towed. The refused to answer my calls. The only time they did is when my insurance company called them while I was on hold. I was told to give the tow 10 minutes twice and my car has yet to be picked up 2 hours later. They told the insurance company that the tow was pulling up and would call me. When he called he stated he will not be there until about 10 minutes! Worst customer service ever!!!

These guys are a complete joke! USAA uses these guys for a tow. Waited 2 hours for a no show. Bad business.

They never showed up. This company kept telling USAA they were "filling up the truck" and on their way to me and kept changing the ETA. 3.5 hours later they told USAA that there was still one tow before mine. When I called them they never answered. I'm new to VB so I didn't realize the horrible reputation of this towing service. USAA is cancelling their association with this company.

Bad service. Waited three hours and no show. They call after 30 minutes said they are on the way. Call 45 min later said they should have been there called again after 2 1/2 hours said they should have been there and still no show. They left me stranded for 3 hours, I then found out they closed and they never called me.

This ppl just don't care .
My insurance sent them to the my car they never showed up.
Following week again I needed tow they sent me confirmation but I requested a different company but they still scheduled them .they still never showed up.
They should be out of business .

Never use this group. Consider yourself warned. calling my insurance company to have them removed as a provider.

So impressed with their towing! They were at my disabled vehicle within 15 minutes. Very professional, polite, and efficient. The best tow experience I've had.

The dispatcher texted me 2 different etas while I'm on the side of the road. After 30 minutes passed I called back and he hung up on me after placing me on. 5 min hold. The dispatcher lied to Pepboys, who contracts them out that he had a truck break down and sent it to another driver but the other driver had to help a state police

We are vacationing in our RV. We discovered a cracked rim on one of our tires. We have Good Sam Roadside Assistance (awesome service) and they placed a call to A&W to come replace our tire. A&W gave us an ETA of approx 2 hours. 2 hours came and went, so we called Good Sam back. They called A&W and we're told they were running behind, it would be another 60 minutes. Meanwhile our plans on the last day of our vacation are going up in smoke. 1 hour and 15 minutes went by and we called A&W direct for an ETA. The girl wasn't at all friendly and said they called the provider an hour ago and told them they weren't going to be able to perform our tire change. When I ask why, she was nasty and said because they had two trucks down and were busy and hung up. Not who I'd want to do business anyway. Hope this review helps somebody else from waiting 3 hours on a no show.

Horrible! Got them to replace my convertible top and they broke a window. Didn't replace the seals and it is leaking! It wasn't leaking before I got it replaced! One of the handles that holds the top in place was bent! They did fix the window. But I was so disgusted with them I wouldn't let then touch my car again. Oh, yeah I had just had my car painted and someone placed a cup on the hood with something sticky on it and it left a cup ring on it! They didn't even wipe it of, instead they let it bake in the sun! The guy who replaced the top was very rude

Took a panel from my boat camper here, Ask if they could get a new window put in and gave a 8 working day time frame. Well needless to say they didn't !! I heard every reason in the world from we don't have the glass to we ran out of zippers and we're waiting on UPS...then as time came even shorter I was told the canvas wouldn't fit in the sewing machine. Then the Wednesday (last day before trip) I called at 4:45pm and was told Johnny went home. He was still there, I was setting in the parking lot looking at him ! The following Monday when I got my canvas back the sewing job was done so bad it'll have to be redone, this time I'll take it to a Professional to be sewn !! So DON'T use this place if you care how your boat looks or want any type of good service. But if you want CRAP work and LIED to go ahead you'll get that !
