General Info

Sessions take place in your home - both indoors and outdoors, or may be scheduled at a favorite outdoor location. I'll arrive and just chat for a bit, get to know everyone, help pick out outfits if you haven't decided yet, and then wander your house exploring light and colors. Laundry baskets and other things will be stepped over with a smile, and moved quietly out of a shot if need be - just like it's not even there. We'll probably start with family shots so Dad can be free to get back to whatever he's busy with(if he wants). During this time we'll laugh and I'll ask you to squeeze and tickle each other a bit. Sometimes we pull out a favorite book or two for you to share all together. When it's time for some individuals of the kids, I'll most likely crawl around on the floor with them, talk crazy kid stuff, and act more like a playmate than a photographer. Kids are magical all by themselves, and I¿ve found it best to capture them just that way, with hardly any direction or interference from me.
