Wisenbaker Construction & Grading Company

In February 2015, this company agreed to clear some land for me. We agreed on a price for what I desired to have done. I was excited that, John, the operator at the time, took the time to listen to me and provide the exact service I wanted to cut my cost. At the end of that portion of the job, John said he would be back to finish getting up the roots and leveling out the land.



Fast forward to May 2015. I called the company and learned that John was no longer working there. Mr. Wisenbaker told me to burn the pile of wood and roots so he could finish the job (getting up the roots and leveling the land). I burned the pile as instructed and called Mr. Wisenbaker to inform him I had done so. He agreed to finish the job by Wednesday, 3 June 2015. An entire week has now passed and the job has not been finished nor have I received a follow-up call with an update. Today, 8 June 2015, I called Mr. Wisenbaker to find out what was going on. He said he no longer has that machine, but he was also working on another job and wouldn't be able to finish the job until the following week. I asked for a refund of $750. He offered $150. I explained that a professional business should call a customer, who had paid for an unfinished job with an update and apology. Not the customer calling a company to continuously get updates. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with this company and the service they have provided for a job that has been paid in full. Hopefully Mr. Wisenbaker will keep his word and finish the job so I will not have to sue the company.



He seems to be a very nice man. However, future customers beware!

For my first experience using this type of service I was extremely concerned since I had no idea what to expect. Much to my surprise it turned out very pleasant. Mr. Wisenbaker listened, then explained in terms that I could understand on what he would need to do to remedy my situation. After checking his references, I was completely satisfied. He offered total satisfaction with a very competitive price. I was totally satisfied with his services, and would reccommend and use Wisenbaker Grading again.
